  • We are happy to present a conversation with journalist JD Flynn.
How does one cover the Church as a journalist, while also being a faithful Catholic? How do you reckon with scandals within the Church, from financial mismanagement to the grave evil of sexual abuse? We’ll discuss these question and more with JD Flynn, editor-in-chief of The Pillar. JD will talk about the challenges and joys of being a part of the Church’s communion, about cultivating the virtue of ecclesiality, and the way in which our own sinfulness can be the locus for deeper intimacy with God and with the Church.
JD Flynn is editor-in-chief of The Pillar, a Catholic journalism project focused on analysis and investigation into the life of the Catholic Church, and the host of The Pillar Podcast.
