If you're still using petroleum oil for ATs then you're outdated. Since we know torque converters run on HYDRAULIC PRESSURE, viscous friction is a severe issue. Not only it robs power, it degrades lousy oil quickly. Synthetics are FOUR-FOLD because they are less viscous initially and doesn't easily degrade. They will easily lower power loss from about 25% to 10 - 15% trough faster flowing fluid. I highly recommend Amsoil's ATF and I'm not a dealer. Turns slushboxes into a REAL vicious couplings.

Except if you've got any kind of transmission leak a synthetic, since it has a smaller molecule, will make the leak worse.
What is reccomended for ws?
My Rolla was ws now I put T-IV and got butter smooth!
Amsoil ATL, Fuel Efficient Low Viscosity trans fluid.
@@thelubepage Does Amsoil ATL has the butter smooth gear shift engagement industry secret aminates additives, like Toyota's WS and T-IV?
