i don’t get how people can get so mad over someone residing a company’s trashed items. there’s already enough trash and pollution! you go girl! and its amazing how your donating some of it to people who actually need it, rather than let it collect dust at your house or been trashed in the first place!

As a b&bw employee it makes me sad to see how much they throw out when they can just discount it

Also as a bath and body works employee, they sadly can't just discount the items or give them to employees because that risks people damaging items on purpose to try to get it discounted. It is very sad. At my store, we can't even throw anything away that has stuff in it. We have to pour/squeeze all contents out into the trash bag. So it would mix hand soaps, lotions, shower gels, body wash, body creams, etc. And we have to smash all the candles to smithereens so no one can take it home. It breaks my heart.
@@georgiapeach47 could enough of us sign a petition so ask if they can donate the items that are in good condition to foster/homeless group homes? Or even make small bags of hygiene products for living experiencing homelessness

Dumpster diving is not ilegal right ? Just asking cause I went to ulta and a employee noticed that I was at the dumpster trying to find stuff and they said they were gonna call the police so can someone tell me if that’s ilegal please 😭

The two large jugs at the end aren't soap. They are air fresheners that go into a diffuser that sprays every so many minutes. That's why the stores smell so great.

Use 91 % alcohol instead of regular rubbing alcohol to remove the marker.. it's much stronger and breaks down the permanent marker much faster and doesn't leave a smear..

I whent to Ulta and I found Lip Glooses but I'm not Felling Shure to use them how do you desinfect them ????
Honestly there’s no way honest disinfect lip glosses or liquids. What I do if I really want something is wash the applicator really clean, dip in alcohol. And then I will put a drop of two into the gloss or whatever. Then I keep in the freezer over night. But do what u feel is best for you.

Do you have to ask store permission before you dive? Have you ever been stopped by security? I'd like to try diving some time but just want to make sure I don't need to talk to someone beforehand.
No, don’t ever ask. Diving is looked down on especially by retail workers. Just find out if it’s legal in ur city 1st. I asked a cop just to be sure. I have been stopped before but they will just ask u to leave and u should always listen.

How do you know when to go dumpster dive? Do you just go daily?
I want to dive so bad but I'm honestly scared. People say you can find out if it's legal in your area online but I've searched every possible site and cannot find a real answer, just "look at codes in your area" like I know, but how?
I couldn’t find anything online either. But u can call the non emergency line for ur county/city and just ask if it’s illegal or not. I found out when a police officer approached me while I was in a dumpster? Lol he said it’s aloud was just checking
Gingham you will pronounce it like ging • uhm 😊 . My girls all wore gingham dresses growing up.
Gingham = GING-um. It’s the name of the pattern. The lines can be big or small, any color. Not to be confused with checkers. Gingham tends to show up a lot in country decor.

Good for you. That is alot of stuff. I work at bath and body works and all that we can't resale we damage everything. We squeeze everything out of the lotion bottles and shower gel bottles.

Mine opened back up last month & I watched until I saw that the day they were opening back up & I went & got it but the sad thing is that I left behind some bags because I had got so much & was scared that I was going to get caught . off with dry erase marker.
I got the haul from my bath n body unfortunately they did squeeze out a few of them so I had to come home n wash the outside of the container. Not that it was a total big deal cause I had to sanitize them as well anyways but usually they just write on them with the sharpie which obviously comes off but great score u got
