My dad was an old timer aviator. He used to filter his fuel with suede cloth to remove water. It worked wonderfully for 2 stroke premixed fuel/oil. You could see droplets of water on it at the end, possibly because of the oil. Then it doesn't work for cars nowadays, because the ethanol added makes the water diluted in alcohol, pass throught the suede cloth... You need to know some polarity, coalescense and solvability stuff.
Thank you very much for this lecture. Indeed, you are a doctor in this field. But I have a question, please, dear. What is the alternative solvent for sulfur acid in the setting of the bitumen?
Why do Glide lubricating Oils and Diesel Fuel Gel . Is it Because the additives / or Cold Temperatures . Is it possible the Low pour point was C°/F° was exceedingly To Low . Is there any chance to additives of anti Gelling agents applied .
water is polar, the metal plates individually are not. So the closer a water molecule's localized positive side of the dipole is to a negative plate, so too is water's localized negative side of the dipole which decreases water's attractedness to the plate, even if the positive side is slightly closer to the negative plate. While in solution, there are other, much more local and smaller water dipoles to be attracted to one another, so the positive and negative charges of each individual water molecule can be satisfied in those attractions. Does that make sense?

Fantastic explanation. Thank you for sharing.

Fantastic Video ❤❤
Does coalescing work with water emulsified oil also?
so wont the water particles be attracted to the metal plates which will be inducing charges
