Like I've said elsewhere, after having played more serious/grim Final Fantasy games like VII, FFT, VIII, FFXIII, as well as comparing it to the VERY grim & depressing world of the recent FFXVI and even FFII long before it, Final Fantasy V feels like such a breath of fresh air. Bright and colorful, the story isn't all that serious for the most part, and the main protagonist Bartz is so full of energy and positivity.
@@Leistt I haven't played it myself yet as I'm awaiting the PC release from the PS5. The creators and fans alike have said Final Fantasy XVI is very dark, graphic, heavy subject matter, and quite grim. Being very similar to Game of Thrones and has the *M for 'Mature' rating for a reason. What we see in the trailers also heavily imply all that.

３１年前、今は亡き祖母に買ってもらい夢中でやりました。
バッツが村に帰るエピソードは大人になった今見ると心に沁みます。女の子の「あれ？バッツ？わーい！！バッツが帰ってきたー！！」って反応に涙が出そうになるのは姪ができたからなのでしょうか。
子供の時に気付かなかった魅力に４０も半ばになってから気付かされます。
スタッフの皆様に感謝しかありません。
用事はなくても曲を聴くために何度も村に帰っていました♡笑
英題もシンプルだし、日本語題ともリンクしていて、「故郷への思い」を考えさせられる曲名ですよね…。
バッツが飄々としている理由の裏を見せてくれる場面だからこそ、FF5の中で一番好きな曲です。
何より、「故郷」から遠く離れた地で生活していると、余計曲の哀愁が身に染みるのです。
