Clifford 1988 Credits, 2000s Style

- ATTENTION ALL CLIFFORD FANS!!! As you can tell from the videos I uploaded recently that I am a Cliffordian. What that means is I am a big fan of Clifford the Big Red Dog and know all there is to know about the character, the book series, and the original TV series. Anyways, for all of you Cliffordians out there in UA-cam Land, this video I originally uploaded back in October 2019, but I’m uploading a better version of it today. The idea came to me when I saw a video of the original credits sequence from the Clifford VHS tapes from 1988. These are the same credits from the 1988 direct to video series, but this time around, I’ve modeled them after the end credits from the 2000 TV series. The theme song, “Go, Clifford, Go!” is from the 1988 version, and the backgrounds are from the 2000 version. (I had to digitally paint over the names that were on there originally.) The credits were typed in the same format and font as the ones from the 2000 series. For the music, I added John Ritter’s Clifford barks from the 2000 show into the mix to give this song more punch and flavor. I included the original Nelvana polar bear logo from the 1988 version, the Scholastic logo from the 2000 version (the accompanying music is the tail end of the instrumental theme used for that version’s end credits), and the circular Clifford logo I used in my previous Clifford videos. As for the song, “Go, Clifford, Go!”, it kind of reminds me of the song “Gleep Glorp” from Rockin’ with Judy Jetson. I mean, the music does have that kind of sound and flavor, doesn’t it? I loved this theme, even more than the 2000 theme. Don’t get me wrong, both are great, but I really like this song. I hoped for the 2019 reboot that they would combine elements of both this song and the one from the 2000 show to make a Clifford theme as memorable and catchy as the DuckTales theme song. But as it turned out that wasn’t the case at all; they went for something totally different. I watched yesterday or late night. The 1988 Clifford, the Big red dog theme song and credits will be perfect for the 2000s version of Clifford, the Big Red Dog version.

I mean, the eyes, the eyebrows, the nose, the ears. This dog's overall design screams Clifford to me. Let me know in the comments what you think of this dog.
