Great videos 2-Smoke. Any videos or know-how on doing this for the 587 setup (1993 Sea Doo GTX)? The oil pump connect is different, and I'm lost on how to prime the lines.
1) put butterfly in closed position 2) attach the carb linkage and adjust if you have to… now the carbs are syncd 3) turn idle screw in about two turns in from contacting the lever… this is a good starting point. 4) attach throttle cable and set your throttle slack 5) attach oil pump cable, align the notches 6) with a warm engine, preferably dipped in water on the trailer, make your final idle adjustment… rpm 1500 in water, 3k on trailer 7) go back and make your final throttle slack adjustment… no more than 1/16” play 8) followed by making your final oil pump asjustment. For most engines except the 951, you will use the jam nuts on the triangular bracket for your oil pump adjustments.
This is awesome! First time working on seadoos. This made it too easy! Thanks again for making great clear videos.
That’s a good video bud! Nice older ski too. Very clean inside.

Where did you get the yellow oils lines from and that mirror!? You make this look to easy. I can feel Fiberglass on my forearm already
The mirror you can get at an auto parts store or harbor freight. The lines are Oregon 3/32” inner diameter. You can find it on Amazon.
Quick question mine has a dot and a line which one do I set it at
