Based on demise of eden sq is a genuinely good person! And considering the fact that condensed sam has made doe memes before I think that sq was genuinely tired of all the agents that keep killing her people -edit sorry I was having a fucking stroke apparently I said condensed sam instead of kanako (sam is also a great youtouber go check him out) both of them makes funny doe and decaying winter memes but I meant to refer kanako cus she(or maybe another pronoun) is the writer of this
Sledge Queen is not your enemy, she never attacks you without reason like the scavengers, if you come onto her land, only then does she attack you, you kill HER people, only then does she attack you, there is no attempt to speak with her like she is an ally because she most likely has had to deal with more than enough Agents attacking her and her Raiders: PS, she most likely took part or watched SOF as the head of her hammer was a gift from "Rayzen" The Raider, explaining why her hammer has no explosive function to it.
I think her interaction with a Drifter would be pretty interesting. If I'm not mistaken, the Drifter is also a *former* agent, but is a playable character. I have a feeling SQ would see Drifter as someone closer to her than her enemies. Maybe opting to convincing them to join her side? I would like to see a duel between Drifter's Arm Blade and SQ's Decimator. It seems like it holds a lot of potential for an interesting fight scene.
There are a lot untrained agents, but we still have people who made Sledge queen shiver. Tank Fish and his crew. Anyways, who's ready for "tactical" bombing?
_just to warn you, this comment is VERY long so don’t press “read more” unless you’re prepared for a HUGE yap session._ *“ALERT - APPROACHING OBJECTIVE. ESTIMATED DISTANCE: 20 METERS”* The robotic voice of the “Agent Watch” was hardly audible over the fierce blizzard. The air was so cold and crisp it almost hurt to breathe. The ground was covered in snow, and the mounds were only growing as the blizzard grew more wild. Two Agents were struggling through the cold winds, one had a multitude of small, circular gas tanks thrown across his back and carried a scythe, the snath being thinner than most other scythes. An Immolator. The other was equipped with orange serums in injectors and carried a fire axe. A Berserker. The one carrying the axe called to his friend, yelling over the wind. “Remind me what we’re doing out here again?” His voice was a bit confused, with a subtle Scottish accent underlying his tone. The other Agent glanced at him over his shoulder, his eyepiece glowing a dim orange. _“We were sent to respond to an S.O.S signal around this area.”_ He called back without stopping. His voice was dull and monotone, but his friend didn’t mind. He’d gotten used to it. “S.O.S signal, huh…” The Berserker murmured. He was struggling a bit to keep up with his friend, the snow was up to about knee length at this point, but he was determined not to get left behind. Soon, they reached the top of a hill, and their Agent Watches buzzed. *”DESTINATION REACHED. COMMENCING MISSION.”* _“Keep your guard raised.”_ The Immolator instructed, shifting his scythe in his hands. _“Command suspects that the Sledge Queen herself was here.”_ The Berserker unslung his axe from its place, gripping the familiar wood of the haft. His hands were trembling. Whether that be from the cold or from fear, he couldn’t tell. “Right,” He took a deep breath, and tightened his grip on the axe. It didn’t stop the trembling, but it helped a bit. “I’m ready.” _“Right,”_ The Immolator repeated, watching as his friend shifted the axe in his hands. _“Let us go, then.”_ They walked down the hill, heads on a swivel as they neared the area the distress signal had originated from. The Berserker suddenly gasped, running over towards a small lump in the snow. He put his axe aside, quickly brushing away the snow to reveal the Agency’s uniform for novices. He checked their pulse. They were already long dead. With a drawn out sigh, he stood up again and picked up his axe. “Bloody hell… And here I thought we actually had a chance this time…” _“Eden is cruel, and its inhabitants are equally so, if not more.”_ His friend responded simply. The Immolator crouched near another corpse, which had been thrown against a crate. He ran his hand over the body’s neck. Broken. Dead. He withdrew his hand, his voice as even as it ever was. _“The best we can do is become used to it, just as we did before.”_ “‘Firestorm’-“ The Berserker started, but his friend didn’t let him finish. _“The Raiders did not take their weapons, it seems. We can give them a proper burial.”_ ‘Firestorm’ stood, glancing at the Berserker over his shoulder. _“Would you like to do that, ‘Dreadnought’?”_ “Ah…” Dreadnought blinked, not expecting that, before nodding. “Yeah. That’s a good idea. Show the dead some respect, aye?” _“Right. We should get started, then.”_ It took a little while, but they had eventually buried every corpse on the battlefield. Not only the Agents, but the Raiders as well. They all deserve at least a bit of respect for fighting as hard as they did, after all. Firestorm stood in front of the graves. They were relatively simple, a buried body with a weapon stuck into the ground above it, but a grave was a grave. He clapped his hands in front of him in a silent prayer, and Dreadnought stepped up to join him. After a moment of silence, the Berserker spoke. “Why do they only send out rookies in these parts? Why not send the elites, like us?” _”I do not know. Perhaps command is too afraid to lose us.”_ “Well that’s just stupid. We’re not novices anymore.” _”Even so, an elite could die as fast as a novice could if he got too arrogant.”_ “Eh, fair enough.” More silence. The wind howled, nipping at their skin and whipping at their clothes. “Say, why’d you come up with that idea, anyway?” Dreadnought glanced at the Immolator beside him, his confusion evident. “Every other time you just said we should leave before the storm gets here.” A small, amused _”hm”_ escaped the Immolator. It was rare for him to show any emotion, and Dreadnought would be lying if he said he wasn’t taken aback. _”I suppose ‘Eclipse’ truly has been ‘rubbing off on me’.”_ “You guys really are dating, then?” _”At her request.”_ Firestorm let his hands fall to his sides. He turned around and motioned for Dreadnought to follow him, his voice monotonous again. _”We should head back, before Command believes we have gone rogue and sends a Deathsquad to hunt us down.”_ Dreadnought rolled his eyes, following his friend into the blizzard. “Let me guess, you heard that joke from ‘Shadow’?” _”Correct.”_ Firestorm answered simply as they both walked away from the graves. “You really gotta work on your tone, mate. The way you said it makes it sound like they *will* try to send Deathsquads after us.” _”Sorry.”_ “…They won’t ACTUALLY do that, right?” _”You are asking me? Anyhow, we should focus on returning to base alive, first.”_ “Right, sorry.” _Thank you for reading! Love the animation!_
