With all due respect any author that proclaims the second coming of Jesus by basically kidnapping a child and raising them to believe they’re Jesus should probably not be trusted. Ask Krishnamurti his opinion of this Anglican priest turned occultist
Leadbeater was a controversial figure, and I don't hold his beliefs. I picked this book because I was assigned to read it at the time I dropped out of a seminary program years ago, and never got around to finishing it. The Liberal Catholic Church is also a very important group in the colorful, fascinating, and checkered history of "Wandering Bishops," (Episcopi Vagantes).
@@BryanKirch Being Eastern Orthodox, my ecclesiology is the Synodal model (actual Synodia, and not disingenuously hearkening back to an ancient tradition as an excuse to modernize). Having said that, I do acknowledge that from a Roman Catholic ecclesiological perspective, the Conclavist position is the most consistent. I corresponded with the late Pope Michael I, and I had a great deal of respect for him.
