I so enjoy your blessing and the effort you have put into this lovely home. I have a suggestion - likely for friends/family that are going through a move. I bought a 4 x 50 ft roll of craft paper and taped it down over carpet and traffic areas during the move in. It saves your beautiful home from wear and tear during that initial process.

Yes your not to far from me. Yes housing is very expensive right now. I think having land is a good option. Either mobile home living or build on your land later on with a USDA loan. Prayers for your journey 🙏

I smiled all through watching your video, I am soooooo happy for you!!! For your house to be a repo it is in great shape, so far what I like the most from what I see is that your bedroom is not right off of the living room, dining room or kitchen, that's a plus for me! Yes, I would definitely like to see an ideal breakdown of all your expenses that you had to put out during your process. My plan is to leave NY maybe to VA or to NC to go purchase me one these homes, my family is in VA, but I'm really considering NC & my daughter & son are grown, so it's just me. I've been following your videos from the beginning of your home journey & you just gave me the idea of looking at some repo homes for myself as well, because that was never a thought, so thanks! What was the out come of your refridgerator issues? Because I sure kept you in prayer, whelp, you are almost there I can't wait to see the house when they come out & do the final finishes.

I am sorry you had to clean it out tho! When I bought my home in 2000 it was a repo and my dealer sent someone out to clean it. We're still living in it 22 years later!!! I had it appraised and it has only depreciated about 20k. I paid 60k and it was a 98. It also said that my home should have about 44 more years of life left, so I'm about to buy a new home and rent out this one! I should be closing soon and I'm going to start a vlog myself. It's been a long road but I'm so excited! Wish me luck and congratulations to you and your children. And yes you're right! Family is so important. God bless!

Good morning I am very excited to get my new home. I’ve been watching every video on the process and everything. I have a question when they first delivered the home before they did all the trim and everything did they give you your keys or did you have to wait until it was all finished? Did they just leave the home unlocked? Im so anxious for my home to be delivered (sometime this week) and I wanna walk around it like you did too. Lol I know I signed something during closing that I wont occupy the home until its all the way finished 😢
Hey, I'm so excited for you. Yes, they gave me the key so I can let everybody in, that needs to fix the house to get ready to occupy it. I definitely didn't want my door unlocked when I wasn't there . Good luck on your journey!
