A bit of online research perhaps shows some answers. In 2014 22 Squadron had 8 Sea Kings assigned. At least 2 of those were C Flight at Chivenor. Both were HAR3A's - ZH545 Coded 'Z' was sold to Belgium in 2019 for spares while ZH542 coded 'W' went to Belgium in 2015 for spares and was then later scrapped. Other 22 Squadron Sea King's fates as follows - HAR3 XZ597 'M' now with Historic Helicopters, Chard and seen here.XZ592 'H' HAR3 went to Mrayvia Museum at Kinloss in 2016. HAR3 XZ593 'I' went to a museum at Stanley on The Falkland Islands in 2017. HAR3 ZE369 'S' was a clamping pod in Scarborough in 2022. HAR3A ZH540 'U' went to sola, Norway for spares in 2015, together with ZH541 'V'.
My 2 favourite all time helicopters
