You can easily see some that are going really fast and some others THINKING they going really fast.. :)

The same could be said for some of the car drivers that drive there 😂
Every one of them is going fast, some are just way faster trhough experience. Those "slow" rider are still riding fast and doing something incredibly scary and thrilling
More than a few of them shouldn't be riding motorcycles at all.

13:09 he did exactly what you're supposed to do when the back kicks out like that. SLOWLY roll off the throttle while keeping your arms realatively loose, letting the rear tire grip up again and preventing the front from sending the whole bike into a death wobble. Once recovered, apply throttle and continue on your way :)
... and push your weight on the rear sets!

As someone with both a pretty fast car and as a motorcycle rider I will say I've been frustrated behind bikes on the track before. Most bikes are faster than most cars on any straight, but with appropriately sticky tires a lot of cars are faster than bikes around corners and if the rider is not highly experienced, then a fast car may net a faster time around a twisty track. Obviously the Ariel Atom is one such car. But often the bikers feel like they're riding *at the limit* and they're pulling away in the straights so they may not bother to look in the mirrors and notice one or more fast cars are stuck behind them, and that makes the car drivers get impatient and (in this case) pass around the outside of a turn, because they've been unable to pass em in the straights.

19:46 I know that feeling all too well. I was out on my Ninja 650 locally here, about 40 KM from home when a thunderstorm formed right overhead. They form incredibly fast here because the warm Pacific air coming over the mountains hits the cold arctic air following the jetstream, and I rode home hunched up like that guy. Thankfully i was wearing my waterproof gear, but still... it was not exactly FUN 😶😵💫
Imagine the absurdity of hail in summer ....in Alice Springs with just summer gear on 80kmh and bang machine gun ally.
There’s no way I’m riding around the outside of a stranger, mid corner.
And as for cars doing it to bikes, I’m guessing they won’t feel a thing if it goes wrong.

Knee slides are to keep the bike stable while going into corners... Not because they are going fast. Leaning the body further then the bike keeps the bike much more stable then when people are leaning all the way over to get their knee down.

its a 2009 suzuki gsx650f. With a custom Diy color scheme@@oban2000
@@oban2000 Either a Suzuki GSX 650 F or a GSX 1250 F, not sure about it. If it's a 650, then it's an older one (08-09 or somthing, as they got a black engine on the newer ones).
Funny though, the bike has NR on the license plate, that's the area where I bought my GSX 650 F a few years ago as well

@2:00 ADV bikes are the best beginner bike for the Nürburgring, b/c... you can do that when you inevitably mess up a corner.
Some of the car drivers seem to be thinking 'these bikers, think they're fast, I'll show them' and just get way too close trying to prove a point. They don't understand why people ride bikes.

the ring is only a bit more forgiving than the isle of man.. no runoff area , just metal crash railings.. not a racetrack for bikes..
It’s a death trap for motorcycles.
I was riding there with a Yamaha R6 2006, BMW HP4, Ducati V4R and I am not much afraid of anything. I am a good experienced rider ( not the best or any pro, just acceptable ) but it was very difficult. It’s fun to ride it for fun but not for a specific lap time or against someone.
I‘ve driven it also with a BMW M4, Porsche GT3 RS and GT2 RS 991. ( Not my cars, they were offered to me from a person I know )
I did a 7:02 lap with the GT2 and was much more relaxed. Braking down hill into corners, so hard from that speeds on a motorcycle, no way…and that’s what makes it a horror ride especially if someone is behind you with a car who can go faster.

Garbage. They're the EASIEST thing to ride. Plus, all that extra grip up front, perfect for the 'ring. Niken's rule, I'll be buying another one soon enough. They look ridiculous, but they're the ultimate hoon bike.
