Thanks for this! I had a bit of an issue following this, as it turned out my element wasn't actually held in by screws - it turns out that on some ovens, you need to take the back of the oven off, then undo little bolts holding the element in from that side. Otherwise, all was as simple as you show here. Cheers for the help - and just so you know, my cooker was as greasy as yours! :) :)
Thanks for this video Clarky, it's a massive help as our oven went on Thursday, blasted thing is 14 months old and neither Argos nor Bush will do anything about it. I'm going to try your method, elements are now 15 quid on ebay, that's inflation for you!
funnily enough mine just popped and its the same model and under 2 years old as well, sounds like Bush used a load of duff elements. Great vid as I am about to change ours.
My oven went on the blink tonight. Can’t afford a new one so this 60 year old granny of 3 is going to give this a go. Wish me well. Thank you.
Fingers crossed for you! Just take your time, I'm sure you can do it!
How did you get on?
Omg thank you. As a single mum you saved my bacon!!! X
Your most welcome!! Glad i could help! X
Will try this on my Oven.
Excellent video.
Thank you! Glad it helped!

Thanks for the comment and glad the video helped you out even if you did have to do yours differently! I'm glad it's not just my oven that is greasy 😂
Mine went last week exact same model , do I need to order a specific element ?

Haha! Yes I did, it was covered in carbon
we've had to replace the element 3 times in this cooker.
Yeah so have we... It's a terrible oven I wouldn't recommend to anyone, I am in the process of doing my kitchen so I will be replacing this oven.
This cooker is a piece of Junk I've gone through 3 elements
Yes I agree
