In this video I demonstrate my DBS system and show you the affects when it's turned on and turned off. This procedure has been a long time coming, and I can't believe the result! This has already had a major impact on my quality of life and it will only get better from here.

Coincidently my last name was also Lawson ( guy married my mom to avoid the draft during vietnam and divorced her when she got pregnant) and also coincedently I have tremors, no where near as bad as yours but like you I found ways to compensate for it, but the older I get (59 at the moment) the worse it becomes, so seeing how this works for you is really great news to me, gives me hope! Thanks for sharing this, I never knew it was possible until you showed it!

Amazing man! Wicked awesome that you've found a fix. Will this effect your diving capabilities? Do you need to be in proximity to the devise to get the effects or on is on?
No, it shouldn't affect my diving. I actually asked that question during my information meeting! And the device that's "on" is in my chest, so it's always with me. 😉 The other device is just used to turn it on and off and to adjust the power.
Congratulations again! 🥳But I'm curious why you have the option to turn it off. Do you need the off-time for anything in your daily life? Or is it a safety mechanism in case the device "acts up"?
I will turn it off at night, when I don't need it on. This will save on battery charge. And there may be other times when I'll need to shut it off or adjust the power.
@@NateLawsonOh I thought the tremors would make it more difficult to fall asleep like with restless leg syndrome.
Could you maybe explain in another video what kind of an illness you had (what was causing the tremors) and how are these electrodes capable of healing it.
