Agreed. I love that Miguel designed his build to allow space for 4 friends / Element family members to gather at meet-ups, and it's always a full house! 😊
Miguel, This is the most enjoyable camper tour video I have seen on UA-cam. I have a 2004 Ford Explore that I'm setting up like this. But your build is do good it makes me want to switch to an Element! You got a sub here my friend.
What a lovely man and very talented. I don’t have an element, but it makes me want to get one just watching what he’s done . congratulations on a beautiful job well done.. Stay safe.
Extremely enjoyable van tour. Miguel is so creative and has such a great lifestyle! That car is truly a camper in every way. A pleasure meeting you, Miguel. You did a fine job. I learned a lot about the Element. Thank you for the great tour, so nice of you! Happy travels!
@@wille3573 I saw an incredible truck build. The dude made slide out drawers that had fold down legs to become a full on outdoor kitchen! Of course his bed was above the drawers. Also can put a pop up tent on top and it would be epic! Then can build out the bottom part to be a couch on each side for chillin’ with the homies. I’ve also seen some homemade canopies using conduit and rubber tubing as the hinge elbow if you prefer outdoor living room setup. You can setup all the way around camper and have a full on outdoor house. With kitchen on one side bathroom on the other and living room in center.
This is probably the best Element micro-camper build I've seen on your channel, Miguel's, and others....love the simplicity of Miguel's "Tomato" Element. Thanks for sharing! - from an 18yr owner of a 2005 Element EX (silver/blue). Best vehicle I've ever owned, and Honda ever produced, period!
Awesome build! Thanks for sharing. Miguel has done a great job outfitting his rig. I love the pop-top and the swivel seats; gives it a VW Westfalia vibe.
Watching these videos really make me miss my 2003 element. I had it for 15 years and it still looked brand new. Unfortunately I had a winter accident and it totaled it. Best all around vehicle EVER!! I wish they’d start producing them again 😢
Wow, amazing build. You can see the passion Miguel has for his Element. Great dude. Im searching for a $10k used car and researching Element’s. Maybe my search has ended here, hehe.
That’s totally cool thanks for watching! I would love to cover more builds that weren’t elements. I’m just not as well connected yet to those communities.
This is such a well thought out build! Great work, and I'm sure there's a million other clever little details in the build that there wasn't time for. The way he excitedly shows the personal touches of the build is like every time someone asks about my camper. This feels like such an OEM+ build too with the '08 parts on the front end! The lights all don't stick out too much from the ditch lights to the auxiliary lights in the grill. Such a treat!
There were so many things I cut out because I didn’t want to make the video so super long. Miguel’s enthusiasm really shines through Thank you for watching my dude.
Miguel is so knowledgeable and seems like such a kind and genuine person. "Buena gente" like my grandma would say. Tomatoe is a sweet build! I was introduced to you both through Rosa and Elrond. I absolutely love the community you all created ❤
sweet so in the 2 honda builds ive seen thus far swivel seats are in common.. im' glad others are doing this and enjoying.. life has gotten too expensive for me which is why im thinking of doing this only thing im worried about is being 6ft tall if i can sleep in here comfortably. great stuff!! hope to meet some element owners some day much Love from Florida!
There are a few options. I’m not sure why but I’ve never used laid down the seats as a platform. My wife and I sleep on air mattress a few times while traveling to Spartan races, with. 09 seats pushed all the way forward, the lunch box pulled out and the back fully closed. We’ve also got a factory tent that we’ve used a number of times, and with those you have the additional length of the tailgate to stretch out on. There are other models of tents that would give you that flexibility too. I’m 5’11”. Happy camping!
Thanks for sharing, what an awesome build! PPF might be a good idea to protect the hood, have many owners added this? It would probably be an easy and inexpensive diy project to add the film, and you could also change the hood color if desired.
@StephenAldaco yes, I've seen UA-cam demos of DIY film for Teslas, Stephen, and I think a flat hood like the Element would be easy to wrap. It could provide some additional off-road protection
what wireless mic do you use and do you recommend them? I'm trying to figure out what will work for my channel, appreciate any advice you can give, thanks Danny
Now, if only Honda would take a hint from the mod community and re-introduce the Element with some of these amazing camping-related factory mods. And make it a hybrid or electric.
Love these. Honda should have made a right hand drive version. Would have sold so well here in Australia. Looks kind of like a reliable new Land Rover Defender which is a great thing. Land Rover styles big with Honda reliability. Win, win!!
I’ve seen him do custom swivels for other vans I’m sure it’s possible. I would contact Austin directly at Hiros hot rods & find out. Make sure to say Stephen sent ya 👍
@StephenAldaco thank you. Your videos are so helpful. I'll need to watch this one a couple more times. Actually, I mostly listened to this video and wasn't actively watching. Now I see the 1 panel. Sorry about that.
This element is so f**** sick, I love this car so much
It's easy to see Miguel is beloved by the Element community and contributes so much to others
Absolutely & he provides such quality videos lucky to call him a friend. Thanks for watching!
Agreed. I love that Miguel designed his build to allow space for 4 friends / Element family members to gather at meet-ups, and it's always a full house! 😊
Great video, Stephen 🤙
Thank you 🙏
Yeah, he's completely in his element 😎
Thank you Stephen for having me in your channel. Looking forward for the next tour of the Khaki Element 👍🙂👍

Honda should make a new Element. Miguel Limited Edition.
🤣 I bet it would sell well too.
😂 that was a good one 🤭
😂✅✅✅
Dude, Miguel looks like a very humble, down to earth person. I like him a lot. I'm gonna sub him asap!
Thank you 🙏

100% a great sub!
Truly amazing this is better than an apartment

Thank you so much 🙂🙏. Looking forward to camp together
This video is one of the reasons that I have decided to get an Element. I was looking at the larger vans. I pick up my 2008 4wd this weekend!
Congrats
I have an '06 all wheel drive with 76k mi on it and this interior fits me perfectly. Im excited!!
Wow! That is a nice score congratulations!
Very thoughtful and cozy build. Both seem like amazing, kind men.
This guy will make a lot of elements happy..genuine and passionate..
Miguel's simplistic setup is something to strive for!!
You dont realize how much space means to one until they have no space...
🤣
Simple but yes there is so much space! The Molle Panels make a huge difference. I need them now 😆
🙂👍
Most intelligent and enjoyable build yet. This is a dream build!
🙏
Fr, im building a truck camper right now but this makes me want to find a cheap element and start working on it

😮 thank you 🙏
Manual element 4 wd. Amazing vehicle.. living out it is fun
The mods are seamlessly integrated into the basic design. It looks like a factory limited edition or maybe a custom dealership option. Nicely done

This is awesome. Miguel has a great vibe, what an inspiring story and unique element !

One of the best Elements build I’ve ever seeing for sure.
100% Miguel has it down!
Wow this is very convincing. Wished it was a hybrid but still convincing and extremely well thought out.
By far the best use of space just wonderful all his doodads and he has to really enjoy that thing if he wanted he can even take a couple of friends
I love these things wish we had them in the UK
I know it’s crazy the uk never got them!
Miguel,, great rig. Your tiny home is so organized and has plenty of room. Nice.
Thank you
Yay I see our Elements on the Runway sticker 😁
You're even more famous now 😊
🔥💧🌱💨✈️
That is such a rad build! Everything is well laid out and functional. Excellente!
Si! I really like hanging out in Miguel’s Element his layout is very chill & cozy.
I have to say, Miguel has always been an inspiration on building out my E. Hopefully i can get to his level.
I feel the same anytime I am around him and his E!
🙏
Not an Element owner but I appreciate a rad build. Kudos.
That’s totally cool thanks for watching! I would love to cover more builds that weren’t elements. I’m just not as well connected yet to those communities.
Stephen, thanks for the update on Miguel's Element. Awesome build!
Yeah he’s done so much work on it! This might have to be a yearly video 🤣.
@@StephenAldaco lol, yes or even quarterly reports.... Miguel's Q4 results 😊
Give this man an award. Making a Honda Element look badass.. thats not easy lol
Miguel needs an award for sure lol.
You guys are awesome. I wish i have the skill to convert my Element like Miguel’s Tomato. 👍🙏

Met Miguel at otod last year - great guy too. I’ll check to see if he has a full list of all his mods. Awesome rig!
Thank you , I’ll make a tour video of my E soon and add the gear list 🙂👍
Miguel you are a amazing element person. This is a very practical & functional converstion

This gentleman is genius! Just purchased mine yesterday! Look forward to a new adventure! Thank you for sharing this masterpiece
Very nice! Everything you have done to your rig is very amazing !! Thankyou for sharing
I got rid of my element six years ago. Started having a few little problems not nothing big but I do miss it.
Great video. Love the build. I’m going to check out his recommendations for my Element.
Yeah! He’s got such a good build goals for sure!

that mustache needs it's own channel! I'm jealous mine doesn't grow like that.

Im in the narket for a new car and the Honda Elements keep popping up. Its definitely a great utility vehicle. Its exactly what I need right now.
That’s awesome good luck with the new car and check out all our other videos for inspiration!
Such a truly amazing build! I absolutely love that dresser style cabinet. 👍🏻
That is sick! I'll trade my Frontier for that Element😁
I mean…do it
Very nice build!
Glad you think so!
That's it. I'm buying an Element
welcome to the cult my friend

Thanks for sharing, what an awesome build! PPF might be a good idea to protect the hood, have many owners added this? It would probably be an easy and inexpensive diy project to add the film, and you could also change the hood color if desired.
Not a bad idea at all! I know some people have wrapped their hoods but I have not seen anyone do PPF.

Love the lift and wheels👍🏼
I have to agree with your opinion of the Sunset Orange Pearl color. It was the best Honda offered.
Great video sir! I'm in LA might try to go to one of these meetups soon!
December 10th in Irvine thats the next one hope to see you then!

Very nice color.
Yeah, sunset orange pearl is one of my favorites 🍊
I love the setup, Miguel, it’s clean and efficient. You didn’t mention about the bed and kitchen box, did you build that yourself?
If I remember correctly he had a local man build his platform here in OC.
Do you have a Amazon link or recommendation for rain guard/ visors for a 2010 Honda Element lx? Thanks love the channel ✌🏻
Nice setup! Any swivel kit for 2007 Honda Odyssey Touring? Thank you
Surprisingly yes! I think Hiros hot rods was working on one just a few days ago. Look them up and tell them you heard from Stephen 👍
