You seem to have missed out Hikkaduwa which is just a 20 minute drive from Unawatuna, where you would have noticed every single shop sign also in Russian. It has been popular with Russians going back a couple of decades & many are long term residents.
There are plenty of tourists who became famous travel vloggers when they started a UA-cam channel while visiting Sri Lanka. So all the best guys. He came to Sri Lanka before Covid-19 and stuck with us for more than a year due to lockdowns. We took care of him like family. He almost became a Sri Lankan and introduced "Kassippu" to the world!
