I could honestly use this for a instructional video for my haul truck drivers! Being a hoe operator I try and teach and tell them certain things like run over the ruts and find the fastest way to turn around and get either to the dozer to dump or to get loaded. Could tell the 1st haul truck turned in super early then had to back up vs the other truck going straight to the dozer then turning around, awesome vid bud!!!

Such a small load for a pretty decent haul from A to B, there must be a supervisor on sight or something 😂 when I drove an off road truck my 30 ton truck would easily be hauling 50 tons most days lol

I hear ya. Too many sup's don't recognize the value in maintaining the haul road. These guys could've been doing twice their speed with just a little maintenance here and there.
Not a bad video and I could have almost used this video for training operators unfortunately that excerator has those rock trucks going the wrong direction while they're being loaded. Good drone work though.
Even though those trucks are really outdated, they still are far superior to the c2 and newer gen cats. No d.e.f and much quicker response.
So many design flaws, from a maintenance point. I'd rather have a volvo dumper anyday. I noticed the door open on one truck, are the cab vents not working?
I'm not going to lie, Volvo trucks are a dream to drive around. It's like having an office on wheels. You are correct, these guys didn't have any A/C and it was hot as balls that day.
If there's no air flow, chances are the matrix is clogged. Take the r/h side panel of (6×17mm) bolts 3 each side. Under that will be another panel with 10mm bolts. If there is air flow and it smells of wet dog, take the cab filters out and rod the condensate pipes out. Hope it helps 👍

The haul road was in terrible shape and was killing these guys. One of the dozers needed to jump over and smooth it out for them but they were not paying attention

These machines didn't have A/C and it was super hot that day. At the speeds they were traveling there wasn't really a risk of falling out of the truck.
