Off the Ballot - the last time it happened

I know you've never heard this, but #lyndonbjohnson was kept off the #ballot for #president of the #unitedstates in #alabama in 1964. Unlike with #colorado, the #supremecourt of the #us (#scotus) was not asked to weigh in about it, so it has been largely lost to #ushistory. Surprisingly, this also impacted #NASA.
