$26 for the Both filter & housing at TSC?! Not bad, thanks for sharing. Is that 3/4" pipe threads on the housing? (some grease on that O ring might have helped, idk, just an idea. Idk on the overalls either, just keep soap on it til the stink goes away. Diesel doesn't stink as bad as gas imo.) - take care
Are you familiar w/ the Goldenrod 570 - 3/4"? Do you know what screw on filters fit it ? I tried 1 at the parts store & the threads didn't seem to fit just right. Thanks.
Boil them in a little dawn and one pint of kerosine in a 5 gallon pot for 20 minutes. ring them out wash them in your washer with detergent. i work in stinky smelly grease and oil every day.
May be wrong but the way you put the tape on was backwards!
Thanks for the informative video. I am going to put a filter on my transfer tank. How do you know when the filter needs changed?
I am going to put a fuel filter on my tank after hearing about your experience. I appreciate you sharing and making a video about it.
Thank you for watching!
Great video… thanks.
Did it leak from the O ring ?

3:50 Do as I say, not as I do.
They used an o-ring so that tapered pipe threads would not split the die cast filter base.
Split or crack(like he did on the 1st 1, ouch...).
