How does this cube compare with the Rubiks Connect cube as well as the application experience? My experience with the Connect cube isn't bad, it's not an amazing speed cube but it's certainly usable and fun. Anybody compared the two products?
Qualifying mode is full of bots - when the app can't find someone to match you with within 20 seconds it gives you a bot. I wouldn't mind too much if the bots were up to your level, but they barely get better than doing the first layer within the time that you solve Would like to know what the charging is like, as well as how long a full charge lasts
So I got one of these and when it's connected to the app the app display shows my cube rotated a quarter turn to the left or right and never shows the correct face which makes scrambles and algs super annoying

They need an open source app for this cube. When you spend 2 hours trying to use it? There's some issues 2 years on. That means they will never be fixed.
That cubes box does not looks like a gan cube it more looks like qiyi mp (also. Anybody noticed that gan switched from frosted black internal to the primary)

Will this solve the Gan I3 cube if if it is already mixed up when starting the app. Like if I goy my kid an I3 and they couldn't solve it is there a mode that will give her the solution. Or does it have to be solved or take photos of current mix and then give you a solution?
No. It doesn’t magically tell you how to solve the cube. Neither any other smart cubes. If you want your cube to be solved, you need to buy Gan robot (about 70dollars😢) Instead it give you a tutorial about how to solve the cube. So you can learn how to solve cube easily. I mean who would expect a magically solving system in their smart cube. LOL

This smart cube was my first new main since the Dayan Guhong v2. I’m loving it so much, I already got to sub 20 solves with it and I’m so happy! 😊
