The green house gas emissions were reduced by 30% the last few days because of flights canceled and less transportation.. Not only are we saving ourselves by staying home but we are also saving the environment 💚
Alex therednosedreindeer oh she definitely is and I think this is our last chance to really change before she just wipes her hands of us. She’ll be here long after we’re gone.
Something positive: My husband and I owed less on our taxes than we had saved up (he's self-employed), so we payed off our car with the extra funds!! We were only a few months away from paying it off anyways, but now that we're ahead of schedule, we'll be able to use that money for something else. So grateful!
All of us at home now need to recognize how privileged we are that our biggest issue is boredom or cabin fever. All we need to do to save lives and flatten the curve is stay at home. My heart goes out to all the doctors, nurses etc working their asses off right now!
What about the people working in supermarkets and food production, they are just as important and putting themselves at risk as well due to handling money/dealing with large groups of people daily......
Something positive and quite lame: after been single for a year as I was cheated on and that took me a while to heal from, I have recently started dating a guy who is the purest and sweetest guy I have ever met. He surprises me every day with how nice, caring and thoughtful he is and I hope we continue to grow this relationship. EDIT: We are boyf and girlf now
my positive comment is that after about 3 years of having terrible eczema that was constantly itchy and raw is now finally clearing up and looks amazing and after my hair loss journey my hair has now grown back to a healthy so everything eventually gets better guys just keep pushing cuz i know you can do it ❤️❤️
I have had bad eczema since born , I'm now 38 and for the past 3 months my skin has been one constant itch & irritation. Have you changed anything you were doing? Did you start taking a certain vitamin or start using a new cream? I'm really curious.
Moona A I had to actually get hospitalised for how bad it was but when i came out , i constantly put my moisturiser on every hour until my skin was soft and then i put it on ever 4 and then when it felt like it was needed . I know that can be very impractical as i had school and you could possibly have work but if you can find time to keep your skin as soft as possible it will break the cycle of your skin being itchy so you won’t be at it . Also if you live in England they do this medicine called Piriton and it’s to help soothe itchiness and for me it really helped because when i wasn’t using it i was more itchy . And just take your time with your skin show it some love encourage it every day and most importantly love yourself x Hoped that helped a little ❤️
Melissa ? I personally had to be hospitalised for how bad it was but after coming out i just moisturised and moisturised every hour to get my skin soft so it would break the cycle of it becoming dry and itchy .I Know that is a little impractical and i’m sure you work to provide for yourself and others but when you get home from work until you go to bed moisturise every hour and just do that for a week , unfortunately i can’t recommend moisturisers as mine is on prescription but i highly recommend keeping as soft as you can. If you live in england you may also be able to get a medicine called Piriton and it really helps soothe the itching and it really has worked for me because when i haven’t taken it i’ve been extra itchy . And most importantly i know it’s hard with eczema because it can look ugly and make you feel insecure and it just frustrates you but love your skin a little bit and try and encourage it and most importantly love yourself the most and your skin will see benefits xx Hope that helped a bit ❤️
I've been feeling really anxious when I first wake up before checking the news with all that's happening, so today I left my phone at home and went for a lil' walk, used a few spare pounds to buy a coffee and just sat in the park with my thoughts. Small thing but really helped me feel less overwhelmed with everything :)
i was supposed to go to morocco in a school trip (the only trip i can actually go on) but it was cancelled ); BUT to cheer myself up i wore a midi dress which i MADE that i was gonna wear on the trip and loads of people complimented me on it ((:
also my mum saved up for ages so that me and my sister could go and now that we can’t, when she gets the refund she can finally put it towards buying a car!!! she never treats herself to anything and i’m just glad that something initially negative can end up benefiting someone who really deserves it (:
Jazmin Randall aw I’m so sorry you’re not going on that but positive side is that you will get your money back. Also, Morocco can be quite dangerous I know if it’s a school trip they would keep you safe but when my mum went a few years ago she was very scared it’s not good for women 💗stay safe
I just started a new job last week in a, too me, new industry. Yesterday was the first day I felt really good at what I was doing, and noticed that I was actually starting to get it! Also, yaaay I got a job! (Part time, but hey, it's something)
Congratulations! Don’t talk yourself down, part time is not “something”, it’s a lot! A job is a job 👍🏻 and it sounds like you are doing great 😊 I wish you lots of good workdays.
My whole family are at home together for the first time in months and we had the biggest laugh because I spilt a whole plate of spaghetti on the floor v happy moment even tho it was kinda terrible
Positive comment: I was walking my dog today (a black cockerpoo called lupin just so you can visualise) and he was going a poop and a lil girl walked passed a just started hysterically laughing At the dog, then I started laughing and her mum and dad started laughing and it was just a wholesome moment ❤️
Mollie Vickers oooh as in Remus Lupin from Harry Potter? Super cute dog name! I have a dog called Ronald, and when he’s in trouble I call him Ronald Weasley like when Mrs Weasley is telling Ron off😂 random but it’s the little things
I have the same cookbook as you that I used to use with the kids when they were little and I still use it now! Such simple easy tasty recipes! Nearly forgot my positive thought - I’m nipping across the road to write a shopping list with my elderly neighbours so I can go and buy them essentials and they don’t have to go out ❤️
My neighbour put a tub of homemade soup in my letter box today because I have the Coronavirus and am really tired almost all the time. 🤤 #lovemyneighbour
Always love your positivity Grace! It’ll all be ok. My positive thing of today is I had a right good spring clean of my flat and found out one of my flat mates is moving out but bought some cupcakes as a goodbye present! So tidy flat and cakes! Good times
A little positivity! A Facebook group for my city popped up with thousands of people offering support and supplies to those that can’t get out due to quarantine, either because they’re sick or immunosuppressed. An entire city coming together to create a supportive community! 🥰
You’re so wise and watching your videos always makes me feel so chill and happy. You have such an amazing, positive outlook on life and that’s so important in a world where we face constant challenges. I hope you and your family stay happy and healthy during this time of uncertainty and panic. Stay safe and keep smiling x
Positive: the wheater was amazing and warm today so I went outside in our garden and my brother joined me like the good old days where school and stuff wasn't that stressful and it felt like this summer holiday evenings where you can be outside till it get's dark. So I had pretty good summer vibes today✌
0:24 awww, that's so nice ☺️ I guess I'm just feeling really nice and chill because I cleaned the entire house yesterday and manged to get lots done today to.
Something positive: I have been super motivated to organise and clean lately! Storage rooms, attic space, all sorts of spaces I normally give less priority to, all of them are getting super clean and tidy and nice. It feels great!
My two teens have actually been hanging around me more since their schools were shut down- just talking, playing their favorite songs and Tik Toks for me and watching movies. I don’t know if they’re nervous or just already bored but it’s a nice change! Thanks for always reminding us to look on the bright side Grace!
I live in Norway. Schools are closed and the country is classified as a red zone. It’s good you didn’t go, as you probably would be able to get home right away :)
One great thing that happened today was meeting up with my sister for a cuppa and chat. Priceless, love her so much!! ❤️ Much love to everyone, take care of yourself and others xxx 😘😘😘
one positive thing at the minute? Celebrating my birthday today, even if it is remotely with pretty much none of my family as they're all self-isolating... very grateful to live in a world where technology is advanced enough to still allow me to talk to everyone that matters to me! Thank you for always being so positive in your videos - they never fail to cheer me up!💛
I baught my first property last week. And after a long day me and my partner have officialy moved in! lots of decorating to do whenever the quarentine happens!
positive comment: legit this time off is soooo good for my mental health, ive been taking care of myself and going on long walks and watchin all ur videos!!!! its been a lovely time xxxxxxx dont be sad about oslo, there’ll come a time for it and it’ll be gorgeous!! oslo is one of my fav cities and trust me its beaut all year round xxxx
I really appreciate all the content you've been sharing recently . My depression has been really bad the past week and your videos are keeping me grounded and give me something to concentrate on :)
Love that you asked for positive comments, we need more goodness spread out there and your videos always have such a lovely positive vibe to them! Simply watching this is a great boost for the day!!
I joined a group on Facebook and it has been the best thing. I have sent so many gifts to people from their Amazon wish list. It's amazing to see all the positive people on it and helping those in need, since people have been so selfish lately and others giving gifts just for fun. ❤ Also since they closed schools here in NC, seeing everyone reaching out to help feed kids or taking items to elderly that can't find what they need or those that shouldn't be out and then the schools delivering food by bus where I'm from. It has all taken over my fb feed instead of all the ugliness and negative stuff. 💜💜
the most positive thing is how much kindness people are showing to each other around here. In Portugal we are in isolation and there are so many heartwarming things happening. Also, I'm making bread right now and I'm so excited!
Positive comments, I've finally had the chance to do a deep clean in my room! And watching Grackle /Extra Grackle past and present videos has been keeping me great company along the way! Really enjoy your vlogs! Xx
Bless you Sweetie.🦋🤗 We saw a new Mom on Labour and delivery ward had a baby girl today after FIVE (5) little boys!! She is so thrilled and the little girl, named Olivia is so ADORABLE!! Smiling so much. Love you Grace♥️🙏🏻.
Me and my sister where laughing for hours yesterday, she's got depression so it made my day to hear her laugh again 💕

Schools and places are also shut down in Latvia, and it is scary, but me with some friends went to the countryside for the weekend to get away from all of this. It was great to just hang out with people and play some games, not thinking about the situation. In times like this it is great to have people around you that help you calm down and you can go trough it staying together ❤
This whole situation reminded me that we live in a crazy privileged society. I am an athlete and even though I am mad that most club teams aren’t allowed to train and hold practices anymore, in our normal life it is such a privilege to be an athlete. I also go to art school and I realized that I can’t really contribute to the world‘s well being as doctors, nurses and politicians do in such hard times. However, I can share my thoughts and express myself through drawings. Everyone has a purpose on this planet and even though art seem to be such an unnecessary thing in a crisis like this, it is not! I would recommend watching the movie the philosophers if you are interested in this idea. Take care everyone!
It was sunny all day here in My part of Indiana. Grateful and thankful. Went to my office and got all of my work ‘things’ (monitors keyboard etc) home to set up and work from home. I’m grateful I work for a company that is telling us to stay home and work to keep our families and selves safe. Bless ya, Grace.
Karen Simpson this is also my positive thing! I live in America, Utah. The day is soo nice and I am going on a long walk with my 2 dogs both Pitbulls♥️🐶 Sophie & Millie. Enjoy your day!
Something that made me happy today: how even being in social isolation is easier these days, with phones and internet and UA-cam. Also, getting to watch videos like yours keep me going while I'm in home isolation
Am sure everyone tells you this but your videos are pretty darn fabulous. They are full of so much love and genuine joy and happiness in all the world has to offer.Thank you. It's alway a breath of fresh air watching your videos.
Something positive: my day was super productive today, for the first time in a long time. I finished all of my food coursework NEA 1 and NEA 2, handed them in. Woohoo! I then got a good chunk of art coursework done. Woohoo! I also did a workout. Woohoo! And even after doing all that, I was able to still spend time with my family. I didn’t realise I could have such a productive Sunday, I’ve been so unproductive for so long it feels good to have gotten some good stuff done today and to have even enjoyed it. Stay safe. Wash your hands. ❤️
I'm an exchange student from America who's studying in the UK this semester. As you can imagine, it's been a lil crazy right now as it's incredibly uncertain whether or not it's wise to pack up my life in the UK and go back home in the next few days. However, I had my first proper Sunday Roast dinner today with the international friends I've made while here, and it was lovely!!! People may criticize the Brits for their cuisine, but I for one am so impressed by how incredibly you all make Yorkshire Pudding and roast potatoes/meat/veg. Plus, your sticky toffee puddings are absolutely unparalleled. (Also, shout-out to you and your videos Grace for preparing me for my time abroad! All of your grocery shopping videos were incredibly helpful for navigating the UK shops!) Sending all the best vibes out to everyone! Please stay safe and healthy or please get well soon!
Woke up this morning feeling okay, had some of my favorite cereal with my kitty purring on my lap oblivious to the drama. Watched your vlog and it made me smile. It's the little things. Thanks Grace! ❤
i ran in the park for the first time today !!! even though quarantine sucks and i would’ve been in berlin right now (and edinburgh next week, and both of those trips i had to cancel because of corona), it’s a win !! your videos are such a stress relief i’m literally binging every single one right now. so much love from amsterdam
My positive is just watching you, Grace, because you make me smile, and I feel like I have a new family member I want to hear from every day. Much love to you and your wonderful family!
I live in Spain, last night and tonight people came up to their windows and gave a round of applause for all the doctors and nurses that are working so hard with the whole corona virus pandemic, and it was such a moving and unifying feeling
Today is a beautiful sunny day with bright blue skies. Seeing the sun after all the wind and rain is so uplifting. Sorry you had to cancel your trip, it’s the wisest thing to do and there is always another time. Xx
something that made me smile today: i came back from uni yesterday and because of the virus probably won't be able to see my friends for months - HOWEVER, after a day of self-isolation, i went on a nighttime walk and there was an absolutely beautiful moon and the lake looked super pretty. it's the small things
a place where i can share my thoughts without getting judged for being positive during these hard times: first of all, you uploaded! yay! second, i've just had such a productive day but without any stress and i feel great!
I know how you feel haha, I just got and paid for 5 jags and might not even get to go on holiday 😂 something that made me smile was celebrating the 18th birthday of a young person I look after in a care home 😊 she's in a much better place that she has been in the past
Omg that recipe book with the strawberry shortcake in it brought me SO much nostalgia! I had that book as a kid and me and my mum used to bake together from it all of the time 😭❤
Thank you, Grace!!! I've always seen you as such a positive person that always brings a smile to my face ❤ It's so important, especially at this very moment for everybody! ❤
My positive comment: I got to be with my family this weekend after not seeing them for a while! It was really great, we watched the Valhalla murders on Netflix. Really good!
I don't usually comment but this video really put a smile on my face. I've had a bad weekend and this was just what I needed. Grace is the biggest ray of sunshine :)
This weekend I’ve spent time with amazing friends. Knowing I have people I could call at anytime for help and support is such a blessing. I’m a very lucky girl 💕
a positive thing that happened today is I went to a pub quiz with my pals. always really struggled with friendships so finding a lovely group of people to call my friends brings me joy everyday :)
A family I’m close to are moving away (three hours away) but it’s actually happy because it means this family are able to Live together after living apart due to the husband working away in London this move is so great especially for their little 2 year old! I went to theirs to say goodbye today and we exchanged gifts and without knowing we me and the 2 year old both bought each other a rainbow cushion( he loves rainbows and I love them because they remind me of him!) without knowing!!! It was SO cute
never before has a youtuber's authenticity and kindness touched my heart like this, praying for you and your family's health and happiness in this tough time!
Thank you so much for making these videos. They honestly make my day so much better. I’m a senior in college so it’s my last year and last week we found out that my final quarter of college is going to all be online, which really sucks. And to top it off my graduation ceremony is also cancelled. I understand it’s all for health and safety, buttttttt I worked so hard for 4 years to not be able to walk across that stage.
I had a wee operation on Monday and it's been so nice to watch your videos during recovery (especially since I can't eat and you always have great food in your vlogs 😅). That's my positive comment, even though I'm a never-commenter 🙈
one good thing that happened today!!!! i started enjoying time by myself and not being scared of scary thoughts when alone 🥰 i also painted yesterday for the first time in 2 years?
I had my flight home cancelled TWICE! I live in the UK for uni but I've decided together back home to Italy and stay with them in quarantine before they put the UK on lockdown too! I had to buy a last minute flight with a more expensive company... but easyjet does refund tickets in these situations so don't worry! be safe and go to Oslo next year xx
Grace, you are a wonderful role model ♥️ your parents should be proud of the amazing young woman you’re becoming. & also Jesse and Chloe are so amazing as well, basically your whole family are wonderful, amazing, genuine people. ♥️
my positive comment: my mum and I did some diy this afternoon and while it doesnt exactly look like a professional did it we still had a lot of fun and now we're making homemade pizza and planning our summer project of renovating the dining room : )
My mom made almond milk for the first time today. There was an almond paste left over after straining the milk so i thought of making an almond tart crust because I had a pastry in a bakery not to long ago with a pecan tart crust and it was amazing. The idea is in the works and I’m very excited to try it :)))
Love looking at the positive things! My positive thing is that today I picked out my kittens to come home with me soon! 😍I've wanted cats for so long but was never allowed when I lived with my parents so I'm so happy that now is my time 😊 I love seeing Banksy on the vlogs 😍
Yesterday I went to see my friend and her new two week old baby!! (we were safe - lots of hand washing etc and it's likely we will now stay in touch over FaceTime for the next few months) but it was absolutely incredible! New born babies are so precious and having him fall asleep on me was so calming I actually managed to forget about the outside world for that moment which was very much welcomed :)
Something positive: I am very pumped for the new way we have to make our lessons. I am an intern teacher and i wanted to focus on online learning analytics for a long time. With the schools closing we have to make online lessons. It will be hard but I am very excited for this learning opportunity.

I dunno why but this made me teary. Something positive in all this craziness.
It’s funny how things work out! ❤️
My theory is that this is Mother nature getting back at us. 🤷♀️
Alex therednosedreindeer oh she definitely is and I think this is our last chance to really change before she just wipes her hands of us. She’ll be here long after we’re gone.

Hell Yeah kick corona’s ass👍🏻❌! Wish you the best of luck and Thanks in advance for your service.

Ha, amazing timing. If there's one thing we deeply need in the world right now, it's more doctors!

Something positive- after months of fighting for it, I’m getting my dream first car with adaptations so I can drive it as a disabled person

Pickled/Humans wouldn’t be too fun to visit at the moment
One great thing that happened today was meeting up with my sister for a cuppa and chat. Priceless, love her so much!! ❤️ Much love to everyone, take care of yourself and others xxx 😘😘😘
one positive thing at the minute? Celebrating my birthday today, even if it is remotely with pretty much none of my family as they're all self-isolating... very grateful to live in a world where technology is advanced enough to still allow me to talk to everyone that matters to me! Thank you for always being so positive in your videos - they never fail to cheer me up!💛
HAPPPPYYYY BIRTHDAY ERIN :)))
@@extragrackvlogs thank youuu!
The sun ☀ is out, it's a lovely crisp day for a walk in the park with my border terrier 🐶 Casey. ❤ Aberdeen Scotland
Karen Simpson this is also my positive thing! I live in America, Utah. The day is soo nice and I am going on a long walk with my 2 dogs both Pitbulls♥️🐶 Sophie & Millie. Enjoy your day!
Positive comment: We managed to buy some toilet roll after a few days of rationing two sheets for a number 1 and three sheets for a number 2
😂
Something that made me happy today: how even being in social isolation is easier these days, with phones and internet and UA-cam. Also, getting to watch videos like yours keep me going while I'm in home isolation
New to me at Pizza Hut are mini Cinnabons. You can also purchase a small container of extra sour cream icing. They were delicious.
animal crossing new horizons comes out on friday so that’s really kept me going😊
I am SO tempted to get switch!
@@extragrackvlogs you definitely should!!! Well worth the money and most importantly NEW HORIZONS!!!!!!
Extra Grack they’re amazing!!!
Bought my switch today!! Hehehehe so excited!!
Extra Grack Get one now rather than later because Nintendo in China has stopped making and sending out switches because of the corona virus!!
Positive thing from today: I went outside in the nature and it just felt so good to feel the sun on my face and the weather was just brilliant today!
Am sure everyone tells you this but your videos are pretty darn fabulous. They are full of so much love and genuine joy and happiness in all the world has to offer.Thank you. It's alway a breath of fresh air watching your videos.
Something good: I woke up this morning. Its the simple things guys.
A dress I've had my eye on since November has finally gone on sale and it's now £15 so I snapped it up! Last one in my size, it's meant to be 😁
I'm an exchange student from America who's studying in the UK this semester.
All of your grocery shopping videos were incredibly helpful for navigating the UK shops!)
Sending all the best vibes out to everyone! Please stay safe and healthy or please get well soon!
Woke up this morning feeling okay, had some of my favorite cereal with my kitty purring on my lap oblivious to the drama. Watched your vlog and it made me smile. It's the little things. Thanks Grace! ❤
Thank you for being a shining light during these trying times! Always love your content!
i ran in the park for the first time today !!! even though quarantine sucks and i would’ve been in berlin right now (and edinburgh next week, and both of those trips i had to cancel because of corona), it’s a win !! your videos are such a stress relief i’m literally binging every single one right now. so much love from amsterdam
You go Glen COCO! Proud of you for going for a run!
Xx
something that made me smile today:
i came back from uni yesterday and because of the virus probably won't be able to see my friends for months - HOWEVER, after a day of self-isolation, i went on a nighttime walk and there was an absolutely beautiful moon and the lake looked super pretty. it's the small things
a place where i can share my thoughts without getting judged for being positive during these hard times: first of all, you uploaded! yay! second, i've just had such a productive day but without any stress and i feel great!
It's the perfect time to pick up a hobby! Got a paint set and some embroidery gear, going to get crafty
I know how you feel haha, I just got and paid for 5 jags and might not even get to go on holiday 😂 something that made me smile was celebrating the 18th birthday of a young person I look after in a care home 😊 she's in a much better place that she has been in the past
Ahhh that is SO lovely
Omg that recipe book with the strawberry shortcake in it brought me SO much nostalgia! I had that book as a kid and me and my mum used to bake together from it all of the time 😭❤
Thank you, Grace!!! I've always seen you as such a positive person that always brings a smile to my face ❤ It's so important, especially at this very moment for everybody! ❤
Overpacking is definitely a Leo thing, I packed 12 outfits for 3 days
Got a lot done today and also watched jumanji next level! Excited to sow the seasons seeds for my veg!
My positive comment: I got to be with my family this weekend after not seeing them for a while! It was really great, we watched the Valhalla murders on Netflix. Really good!
Absolutely know where you’re coming from about not feeling like getting dressed after a shower. I do it as often as poss xx
I don't usually comment but this video really put a smile on my face. I've had a bad weekend and this was just what I needed. Grace is the biggest ray of sunshine :)
I agree there’s not a lot of positivity at the minute :( I’ve managed to play my favourite game for a while this weekend so that has been nice :)
This weekend I’ve spent time with amazing friends. Knowing I have people I could call at anytime for help and support is such a blessing. I’m a very lucky girl 💕
Your videos make me happy! Watching this video is most positive!
Something positive: My dad made really good pancakes for breakfast today! They had blueberries and raspberries in them.
Grace's on a roll! Loving how many videos you're uploading.
a positive thing that happened today is I went to a pub quiz with my pals. always really struggled with friendships so finding a lovely group of people to call my friends brings me joy everyday :)
the flowers on my zebra plant have bloomed and it’s so pretty! absolutely made my day! hope you’re well Grack!
Omg that children's cookbook has such banging recipes!! The granola muffins and the brownies especially wow
one good thing that happened today!!!! i started enjoying time by myself and not being scared of scary thoughts when alone 🥰 i also painted yesterday for the first time in 2 years?
Played board games with my family and made fun of my dad for losing consecutively in every single round! We all had a good laugh about it 😂
I have literally been watching all your video's non stop I love them so much
I had my flight home cancelled TWICE!
😍I've wanted cats for so long but was never allowed when I lived with my parents so I'm so happy that now is my time 😊
I love seeing Banksy on the vlogs 😍
My trip to america got cancelled BUT to cheer myself up I went for a walk, petted some dogs and started to plan a ‘staycation’ 🙌🏼
I conquered my mountain of washing and ironed the lot. Happy days xx
There is so much to look forward to and that is something to keep in mind! You have lived through other hard times and so will you this time!
one thing that made me smile today ist that i had banana pancakes ... i know not super exciting for most people but they were honestly BOMB
Something positive: I am very pumped for the new way we have to make our lessons. I am an intern teacher and i wanted to focus on online learning analytics for a long time. With the schools closing we have to make online lessons. It will be hard but I am very excited for this learning opportunity.
