First '72 Beetle Test Drive

After repairing the Bug's shorted alternator and replacing some wire connectors, it's finally ready for the first test drive under new ownership. A few rough starts and killed it a few times, but all-in-all a success.

Yikes, that loud knocking noise. If that's not engine lid or other sheet metal banging, you might want to check that your heads are all torqued properly.

The carburetor needed some tuning in this video. It sounded much better after doing so, though it still needs a little bit of adjustment.
