It's always "why" with this Xehanort guy. He'll never win, because the concepts he's trying to destroy are simply incomprehensible to him. He can't wrap his heart or his mind around even the most basic fundamentals of friendship, trust, and light.

Best version I've heard of this song. Honestly would've LOVED if the final boss track of kh3 sounded more like this cuz this is amazing. As Ansem would probably say "The strength of this cover....its vaster than darkness"
If only they added Lingering Will as a boss fight in KH3, This would be perfect for the boss theme for it since it sounds like you'd hear it in KH3. Good work man, Cant wait to hear more cinematic covers~
Thanks! When i started recording this i imagined the ultimate battle between Terranort and Lingering Will in KH3 so i'm glad that ya feel the kh3 vibe on this.

(A pulsing sphere of darkness appears before Sora, Terra, Aqua and Ven)
AQUA: Wait, isn't that...?
SORA: But... shouldn't Xehanort's heart have returned to its own time?
(An inhuman roar of rage erupts from the sphere as darkness enshrouds it. The shroud soon fades... revealing Terra-Xehanort, now bearing traits resembling his lost Guardian.)
TERRA-XEHANORT: I... will not permit... YOUR RETURN TO THE LIGHT!!!
(Terra stands and steps forward towards the man he once was. Aqua and Ven try to stop him, but they're too weak to stand.)
TERRA: Xehanort... (summons Keyblade) no matter how hard you try, you will never break my bonds to my friends.
TERRA-XEHANORT: (savagely grins) Your so-called bonds weren't enough to save you before. What makes you so sure this time will be any different?
TERRA: ... Nothing. But even if I fail again, I will always return to try again... over and over, until I defeat you for good. (this song starts playing) So give me all of your anger and rage. I'll take it and make it my strength... strength to protects what matters!

Amazing job! Love the choir sections. I think it would have been really cool if “Rage Awakened” or “Fate of the Unknown” played in between the Skein of Severance fights instead of “Graveyard Labyrinth.” The field theme, while beautiful and eerie, is too slow for the actual Keyblade War sequence. A track like this is the kind of energy the moment called for.

Instead of Sora, Riku and Mickey against the three xehanorts, it would've been better if it was Terra Ventus and Aqua fighting together at last. Sure Sora is the protagonist but he can have the final boss battle anyways.
