The damage to the compressor wheel is likely caused by remains of wet air filter. There was a VW campaign for some of them to remove a rubber bung in the intake ducting that used to block up, resulting in the airbox filling with water. It probably had the campaign done without checking the filter, seen a few where the air filter had started to break apart and become ingested by the turbo. You guys probably have heard of this already, but just in case you didn't!
“The turbo room” That’s every lads wet dream 😂 Nearly 20 brake from a wheel swap is astonishing. 6.5 to 60 is flipping impressive for a big bus like a Touareg. This was a great video Dan 👍🏼💨💨💨

We recommend at least logging it to make sure its safe. To get the optimal results the tune may need tweaking. Drop us an email with your vehicle VIN if you have any more questions. Thanks
Most likely not, you can drop us an email to sales@darksidedevelopments.co.uk with reg/vin and we can check if we have anything suitable for your vehicle
On my Touareg Escape 2014 model it drives pretty normal in economy mode, but when I pull the gear change back to switch it into sport mode it takes off like a scalded cat. Feels like a totally different car. Is it possible mine has a tune on it that only works in sport mode?
What size wheels was the dyno run with road tyres ? My towrag is rolling on 20s and i want to down size for a thicker tyre for that tiny bit of extra comfort and reduced cost on tyres
@@DarksideDevelopments ahh, what can i realistically reduce mine down to size wise. Currently has 20s on but after a thicker side wall for trip up the lakes in july, last time had skinny tyres on up there it didn't end well
@@DarksideDevelopments that's good to know. I shall ring tomorrow for a quote for timing chain, hardly anywhere in nottm will touch it because the engine has to be dropped
Normally great videos but in this scenario you changed so many variables it’s not exactly an identical test is it and unfortunately proves nothing 🤷♂️

"Just one more time"
Famous last words
I went to Cayenne 6 pot calipers and 350mm discs on the front and 358mm rear discs with some 14mm spacers.
Love it! Good work and great video!!
Nice power ive just seen the boys in north wales in mold looked like they were heading home
Was the driving portion done on AT tires or Summer tires?
Still on the Summer Tyres
With those turbo wheel sizes 400bhp should be possible if the fuelling is upgraded.
Yeah teach the people who do this every day for a living 😂😂

Mmmm I got the 09 toureg..might be interested in this upgrade
The ultra high flow turbine wheel (5x5) looks mint, whats the spec in it?
Trade secrets!
Assume you're telling the Dyno software the different tyre diameters when changing them?
Yes of course
I've got a 2056 and tuned if I put your 2260 should I need to tune it again? Stock injectors are enough?

Looking forward to seeing the results of the fuel pump upgrade. Is the CP3 pump upgrade available for the 2014 CNRB 3.0V6 TDI?
Drop us an email!
How much would something like this cost to get it done to a 2015 Touareg?
Drop us an email to sales@darksidedevelopments.co.uk with reg/vin for costs
In Turkey, 320 ps is obtained with the original 2260vk and straight pipe stage 2. Will it cause any problems? Around 320 PS, 700 torque
As long as plenty of logging is done to make sure the tune is safe, it should be fine. Ours do around 300bph and 500lbs/ft without issues
Teşekkürler
Belle vidéo 👌 😉

We can but its all in the throttle maps!
I know that you can get 320 PS with the original GT2260VK turbo
With our dyno, on just a tune we can get 300bhp safely

They were from an R Line so I believe - 275/40R21

Majority of Touaregs can run 18" wheels which should give plenty of space for a little extra tyre

Depends on what the limiting factor is when it comes to tuning and what the car is being used for

But it did 309 with the turbo and remap on AT's, 328 just swapping to road tyres and then with a few tweaks of timing, up to 335 so?
