If you build your firewood box of rebar, it would have uses for all seasons, hanging plants, shelves, and fire wood. Also look very nice painted flat black with wall background. Just a thought, if this works for now this winter, with what you had work with it was worth your effort. I'll smile with you. Enjoy all your days.

I love the idea of restoring the gazebo, the bones are already there so a ‘pick me up’ or remodel could be quick. And that would be a great outdoor cooking and eating theater. I imagine you could film preparing from there. Or,, I was actually thinking it would be beautiful to have an outdoor covering either pergola or a solid roof, when you exit the house with perhaps a stone floor. Even there would be a great spot for outdoor seating with a table and even a cooking spot. You would have shelter from the summer sun and rain any time of year.

Loving the construction projects, but oh my, the cooking episode is so fine !!! Should you need some more snow, we just had 50cm or 20inches trap us in our house for 3 days in Northern Ohio, United States. Happy to send it your way. We had No electricity ! We too have a wood burning furnace and also a fireplace that kept us warm. No water from the well or lights. So happy we joined your subscribers.
