- On this episode, I try out the all NEW REBEL SLS and explain a few of the features that I like best about the kite. Jericoacoara is the furthest NORTH we were going to go during our Brazil trip and luckily enough for us some strong wind came through and gave us the opportunity to try the new kite in some very fun conditions!

bro insane video the 2023 is so sick and the designs is so unique in a good way but sadly I don't have an extra like 20k and another 8k for a bar kite prices are in insane but I've seen how there made and know there worth every cent 🤣🤣
The kites are insane and you always have the option to wait for a 2nd hand model! There is no rush :)

Great riding as always. Which setting do you prefer for Big Air? Soft or Hard
I use it on the default setting that it comes on!

How compares this new model with the 2022 rebel sls ?
suppose to be 99,9% same
When would you use the Dice SLS over the Rebel SLS?
When I would like to combine Freestyle and big or when the conditions are very extreme!

Do you personally ride the same rebel model or do you use a tuned version without pulleys for faster turn speed?
We tried out a version without Pullies. It felt nice but the performance of the one with Pully's was better so we are sticking to that for 2023!
@@LiamWhaleyChannel Interesting, honestly I dindn´t expect that :D. That makes me even more excited for my preordered 8m2 Rebel to finally be released and your videos are definitely one reason why I chose the rebel over other models in the range. Keep sending it!
Hey liam, I'm trying to progress more advanced kiteloop tricks. I'm unsure of the rebel/dice choice. I currently have sls dices but this video makes me think the rebel is friendlier and therefore better progression? Possible video idea for you to breakdown 😀
rebel is not that sharp during looping, dice is faster
I suppose a 9m would be optimal for looping, but what size would be optimal for advanced old school tricks at winds in the 14-22 knot range (which aren't enough for looping)? For 84kg should I get a 12m or bigger for easiest time to learn new board-off and slide tricks?

Sick videos and sick riding man! Just out of curiosity, in the competitions I guess you're probably going to pull some double loops aswell to win... You gonna use 6m Rebel SLS for that or something else?
Right within the Duotone range the 6m DICE seems to be working the bet for double loops!
