Hello and welcome to the magical world of Lara Fabian! Great reaction! I've been a Lara Fan since 1994! I've seen her live in concert 10 times in the last 30 years (6 was her own full concerts, 4 times as a guest performer) and I'm still mesmerized, still under her spell. Lara has no equal! I grew up idolizing Barbra Streisand and Edit Piaf and started to sing because of them. I'm a trained singer (used to sing both choir and backup in my hey-days) and I have a decent voice, but nothing to write home about. The first time I've heard Lara sing back in 1994 I literally stopped moving and breathing for a few seconds. It was a song from her new album 'Carpe Diem' called 'Je Suis Malade'. That single song hit me both emotionally and musically so hard that I couldn't even form coherent sentences for a minute or two. Right there and then I knew that I've heard someone so special, so unique that I will follow for the rest of my life. Lara is a living legend. Here's the link for that song with English subtitles, performed on her live album DVD "From Lara With Love' taped in 1999.

Been a fan and listening since this CD release 1999-2000, Lara, IMO, sings most of these type songs with a feeling of what I call "tragedy, suffering".....you can hear and moreover FEEL IT. in her inflections and also by visual........amazing.....

That concert was a pure gem. Lara, at her paramount vocally and on stage presence (for me anyway). She was slaying everything back then (second half of 90s/early 2000s).
Nowadays, her voice changed somehow and she’s more subtle. But still a gorgeous woman.

Salut Emerson, qu'elle chante en anglais,français,espagnol,italien portugais,etc etc etc... Sa voix est d'une pureté invraissemblable, qu'elle parle ,chuchote, ou qu'elle envoie (faible volume ou fort) ses notes sont d'une clarté incroyable, son vibrato à peine perceptible ou puissant c'est comme elle veut, je ne sais pas si c'est une des seules à tenir ces notes aigus sans fioniture de vibrato forçé pour dissimuler une technique plus faible,mais Lara peut tenir ses aigus longtemps et sur la note avec une clarté de son que peut de chanteurs peuvent exécuter,Il faut que tu réactionne sur "Llora" et "Quédate" en espagnol et aussi sur "Perdére l'amore" en italien, je croit qu'elle est une sinon la seule à chanter dans plusieurs langues avec une grande qualité phonétique (compréhention du texte), merci pour ta réaction,un grand salut du sud de la fFrance,André
