You showed the project that had too little fabric to be stitched in frame. Sew an extra strip of ordinary fabric or old bedsheet or pillowcase and sew the tube from it and attach it to your project. That way you can stitch closer to the border of the linen or aida. I love birds! My favorite bird is tailed tit. Please go to look how cute it is unless you already know. And I do like the sound of the zip!

The kakapo is a giant ground hugging parrot, who digs bowl shaped depressions into the ground and then "booms" all night with their mating calls.

I was knitting all the time before I started stitching and then I stopped. I still have so much yarn in my stash. My favorite bird us the kingfisher, when somebody is lucky you can see them around near the river in our village.
I love all birds-I even volunteered at a bird rescue! My favorite time was in the spring and we would have to hand feed all the little newborns. The ways they opened their mouths so excitedly cracked me up every time! It’s kinda like how you cracked me up with your zippers today 🤣

i got such a laugh when you pulled the zip. About the Lady of Mystery it is hard to stitch in hand if you are not used to it, what i did with one of my projects that i counted wrong and ended up stitching very near the edge i got a piece of scrap fabric and sewed it along the edge of my project so that gave me room to put it back in the frame and i could carry on with my stitching , the scrap fabric can be removed later, hope this idea works for you. my favorite bird is the Robin.

I too have lost the stitching bug but it came back with a vengeance and I couldn’t be happier. My favorite bird is the bald 🦅 eagle……..sheer beauty. I know what ya mean about being the last one to the party. Seems like I fell in love with Lady of the Flag by Mirabilia when the stitching bug returned but too late to the party to score the pattern. Lesson learned and I won’t walk away again.

You did an amazing job stitching 2,400 stitches with a missing stitching bug! I also had to put my cross stitch aside in order to knit something (I made a sweater for my daughter in 4 days!). ChiaoGoo are my favorite needles! As far as birds go, I like stitching peacocks (because of all the colours), but lately I have been looking at some cardinal patterns (because of the colours, of course!).
My favourite bird is the raven because of the poem by Edgar Allen Poe. Loved the zipper ASMR too. And don’t worry about the mistakes. Give them time and space and you’ll get back to them.
The crinkling and zipper sounds don't bother me. I don't have a favorite bird but last month we made a nesting box to go under our garage as a pair of Rosella's were trying to use our roller door as a nesting space.

That project bag would be perfect for my projects that now live in a plastic trash bag. My favourite bird is hard to pick, but I did stitch magpies. And you had me at Japanese Zen Moss Garden as I plan to stitch that when ECC finally receives the Gloriana floss.

I too have lost the stitching bug but it came back with a vengeance and I couldn’t be happier. My favorite bird is the bald 🦅 eagle……..sheer beauty. I know what ya mean about being the last one to the party. Seems like I fell in love with Lady of the Flag by Mirabilia when the stitching bug returned but too late to the party to score the pattern. Lesson learned and I won’t walk away again.
Ouch, that was a costy "last to the party" 😩 I too had to pay for that pattern *shrug*.
But at least your stitchy bug came back! 😃🙌

You did an amazing job stitching 2,400 stitches with a missing stitching bug! I also had to put my cross stitch aside in order to knit something (I made a sweater for my daughter in 4 days!). ChiaoGoo are my favorite needles! As far as birds go, I like stitching peacocks (because of all the colours), but lately I have been looking at some cardinal patterns (because of the colours, of course!).
My favourite bird is the raven because of the poem by Edgar Allen Poe.
Loved the zipper ASMR too. And don’t worry about the mistakes. Give them time and space and you’ll get back to them.

The crinkling and zipper sounds don't bother me. I don't have a favorite bird but last month we made a nesting box to go under our garage as a pair of Rosella's were trying to use our roller door as a nesting space.

I have to admit I'm not keen on the sound of project bag opening - it sounds very high pitched when it comes through the mic :p. Like nails on chalkboard. When it's fast it's no problem, but slow is a lot.
