Loud is a team that evolves surprisingly fast. In the first split they didn't even classified to playoffs and then they changed ADC and jungle. At first they were just losing every game and Croc have baron and dragon stolen 3 times, but at some point the lineup just clicked and win against everyone and stomped the finals with 3-0.
This teams has such a high ceiling if given enough time.

favourites in quarter finals in probs one of the best series ever
as a brazilian fan, it means a lot to hear all of this from the legend itself! every year we cheer as one for any team we send abroad, and watching loud this year gave us the most hpoe we ever had.
I wonder if they're so conscious of their items and drafts because they're so new to the scene, they're willing to try what the numbers say are better rather than going full ego to win. Which is a weird thing to think that ego isn't playing a big factor when their ADC flexed for the camera lol
A lot of the players on the team are veterans tho, so I would not call them new.
It’s more they KNOW their mechanical skills are overall worse then most international teams so they have to find other ways to win. RedCandids was doing similar tactics in 2021, they were keeping up with the East but lost due to the mechanical diff
Its even more odd if we remember how Brazil cs:go was all about ego.

@@MEGARAYMANable they lack macro skills but their mechanical skills are actually good. About the "ego" thing, its pretty common in cblol to scream and provoke the enemy team.
Brazil seems to have a better grasp on the meta and ideal gameplay, but come up a little short in pure mechanics.
If this team spent more time playing against top regions, I think they would be a serious groups contender.
The real problem of Brazil is indeed not having the opportunity to play more often against top regions. The SoloQ here is completely trash

Evenshroud should never be built
Even ignoring the busted af active, giving that extra resistances as a mythic passive from consecrate can come in clutch in mountain soul games

CBLOL was pretty competitive this split, LOUD lost in the upper bracket to Pain (2x3) and rematch in the finals they won 3-0. I'd like to say that we are growing a lot and LS, you are a big part of that, here we have a lot of coaches that admire your work and thoughts about the game and the amateur scene walks hand on hand with the pro (even I was a amateur coach with your ideas).

I'd say Brazilian teams' strength in the recent years is a more concise early game, getting FBs and stuff. The mid game is (I guess with Loud, not so much, in this small sample) where the weakness shows up, bad decisions and all. I believe that mechanical gameplay never faltered but the mental strength wasn't up to par with the mechanics. Hopefully Loud can get at least into the Bo5s and show us more gameplay, cheers!
We Just troll sometimes like against EG when we decide to make a shit and give a win to them, but anyway we show level to Win, but tiny decisions change the game

I said this last year, of all the wildcard regions Brasil is the most likely to become an actual major region because their scene is just huge and they've got a lot of fanbase. It's just a matter of time until they actually become competitive against regions like NA or even EU.
Vietnam has a better chanse, since their player and fan base are bigger and the teams where ( and overall probably still are ) btter. Too bad Covid shut their league down for 2 years.
Also Vietnam has 2 teams at worlds alredy so its easy to get a third if they perform better.

Loud honestly deserves it more than NA and EU. I’d enjoy a wildcard making it out to give the 2 regions a wake up call. God knows they need 1 if they ever went to become contenders.
8:13 basicamente o CBLOL, pelo menos nos últimos anos tem três times que se destacam, eles são: Pain gaming, Red Canids e recentemente LOUD.
Nesse último ano a Red Canids foi campeã duas vezes seguidas participando do Worlds 2021 e recentemente do MSI. Existem outras equipes de destaque no CBLOL mas pelo menos nos últimos três anos essas citadas foram as que mais se destacaram.

8:12 answering the question, CBLOL is pretty competitive, we got a combination of pretty smart teams and very mechanically gifted players. There's even a meme in the scene where every split the casters say that "This is the most competitive CBLOL split of all time"
That or everyone are very inconsistent.

I think the reason Brazil’s items, runes, drafts etc is better is because they actually identify they are worse and need to look for advantages in non-mechanical areas. The exact mindset that NA should have, but ego gets in the way.
CBLOL needs one more pick in order to send two teams for worlds. This would a very good boost for the region!
The problem of Brazil's region is that we cant play with teams of major leagues. In fact, we cant train with any other region. The only moment that we test our skills is during MSI or Worlds.

well, I would say that my region is very competitive, we have teams that fought hard with LOUD in the play-offs. like RED CANIDS and PAIN that were one of the craziest md5 I've ever seen on CBLOL

I feel like Brazil teams have a good game decision-making and are mechanically good. But because CBLOL is a really competitive championship and because we, as a culture, are not that much disciplined and we like taking risks and being inventive, we end up making some risky decisions that makes us throw games.
You can see how those culture traits show up in Brance "Bot gap" and how our fans are always loud and crazy. We don't like "discipline" and "safe game" that much.

CBLOL is very competitive! Loud wasn't first place in the regular phase and actually lost to Pain Gaming in the winners finals of the playoffs, and then came back and defeated them 3-0 in the grand finals
The problem Brazil is not a major reason regardless of how many people play the game is because they’re kind of a locked region, they can’t scrim against any other major reason

So, idk if LS or anyone is interested, but in CBLOL there's a generally considered Big 4, that being PaiN Gaming, Fúria, Loud and Red Canids, although this next year Los Grandes and Fluxo are joining (two very big orgs in Brazilian Fortnite if I'm not mistaken), Loud lost 3-2 to PaiN in the upper bracket but after that they evolved CRAZY and stomped everyone including paiN in the finals (sad for me as I am a paiN supporter), I have no doubt LOUD is currently the best team in the league and Brance for being a rookie is a very f-ing good player, Brazilian teams are already looking for reinforcements next season (including Chinese staff) so I think our league will have a lot more to offer in the future.

Brazil only have Brazil to train. We can train with other regions so we have to study a lot. Over The past years The BR teams were smart about teaching from scratch New players how to play and Loud is The result of this.
It’s like they actually read item descriptions and calculate numbers. Other regions are getting lazy with items and just use general item knowledge and auto build even through patch changes

Do you think NA teams should start hiring CBLOL and Vietnam talent ? instead of more expensive 2nd rated LCK or washed up LEC players or worse OCE players? They can pay them less and those guys would still be making 10X what they are making in their home regions e.g making them extremely motivated to compete, probably more loved by the fans in the process. NA would still suck internationally, but the crowd would have fan favorites that are dedicated to their respective team. discuss?! half trolling / half serious
For sure, problem is NA dosnt help their players improve or settle down in the region and country, which very ofthen means nee players stagnate or regres.

4:00 For some reason this feels to me like Rhuckz just had a lot of respect for the enemies, whereas Hyli does not. Kinda like Carzzy in 2021 Spring split just diving into enemy team first and inting, and then massively stepping up at MSI, at times dunking on LPL/LCK bots... Respecting the opponent, but still knowing when to press your advantage. But Hyli is just Hyli... "neuron activation" player.
CBLOL play-offs was really close, it has 4 teams that could actually won the split. Pain, Furia, Red Canid and Loud. Any of these 4 would do great in Play-ins imo. Loud lost to Pain in upper finals but manage to win in the grand finals.
I can be biased, but i really think CBLOL has one of the best early game as a region. I remember in MSI, casters looking at number of play-offs and saying that RED has a weak early game, and then RED won almost every early game (but throw the mid game). The point is, in brazil no one think of RED as a bad early game team, RED has a really strong early, their number in play offs was not that great, because in that split they have to face Kabum and Pain, and their early game are even better.
We can see that happening again with Loud.
The difference in community reaction between EU losing to wildcard and NA losing to wildcard is so different. People clowned C9 for losing to DFM but not G2 dropping like 2-3 games to wildcard at msi and now fnc to LLL

CBLOL it's an Extremely competitive league, LOUD had a horrible start to the Split but they evolved very well throughout it, the level of gameplay of the league it's obviously a lesser one then the majors regions, however inside of the League it's a very cutthroat envoirement, this is LOUD's very first CBLOL title with it's very first Worlds apearence. (Brace the "bot gap" kid it's only 18yo and this is his first competitive split, not YEAR but split.)
There are other very good teams that i could see doing very well on the world stage PAIN and Red Cannids, i feel there been about one or two years ther i've got actually good player that could do well, but lacked confidence to play in the worlds, hopefully with this better performaces some the the weight of doing well gets dissipated and the players can focous on just playing.
