Hi Khatiya, do you need a license from the city to raise the chickens? Also, do you get any complaints at all from your neighbors? Does chicken poop cause any foul smelling in the air. Does the feathers cause any allergies to people? Coincidentally, I am allergic to any bird's feathers and so this type of lifestyle is out for me.
In my area we do not need a license to raise chicken. However only hens are allowed but in my neighborhood the backyard is spacious enough and we build the coop all the way in the back. The breed we have also does not make a lot of noise either and our neighbors know and seen our chickens from their backyard and no complaints so far. We don't plan to keep a lot of rooster and will consider taking them to trade for chicken feed or hen. Also our set up helps minimize odor from their poop because the chicken always scratch the dirt back and forth and covers their poop dropping. We also feed them enough they can finish daily and remove any excess. Our family is not allergic to feathers so we are OK with them. Hope this help answer your questions.

I watched a documentary showcasing Cambodian gangs based in Stockton. In that video, it shows that there is a gang group at every exit off of the freeway. I wonder why the Cambodian youngsters do not choose to go through the school system and participate in the formal economy?
