this sounds really fun to play on. it would be funny if the nether followed the same idea but with gigantic lava oceans instead haha also i am looking to upgrade my computer without going for crazy levels of performance. would you say that the rtx 2060 (which it seems like you have that) is good enough to decently run the game?
Sorry for being this person, but I think your datapack could work so well with Eureka mod and other cool ones, but sadly these are stucked on 1.18.2. Anyway, awesome job, I really want to make a playthrough with this installed into a pirate theme adventure. Thanks! n_n
I can try to down-grade to 1.18.2 (thanks for being specific about the version btw, a lot of people just say "can you downgrade it?"). 1.18.2 handles worldgen a bit differently in datapacks compared to 1.19+, but I think there shouldn't be any issues. I'll let you know if I can get it.
Ever since they change terrain generation from continental (when we had infinite oceans) to what it is now it hard if not impossible to find survival island see without mainland being less then 1000 blocks from spawn
Oh yeah, the difference is crazy! They used to be huge but then because they were so bland they were reduced. Now, they are more varied but even less than they used to be.

I don’t understand. How do you get to the last generation you were talking about? The one with small and very few islands?
I cannot move the Large Island Bonanza file into the correct folder as it is denied.

What I mean is that when I move the large island bonanza file into the util folder, I cannot place it there as when I drag and drop, it doesn't appear
