I REALLY like what Alliance did with this unit. 5th wheel features in a towable. I can see myself pulling this with a 1-ton with the Harley in the bed of the truck. Hot/cold rating knocks it out of the park for me. Time to start playing the lotto. 😆
Many of these RVs are near perfect. What would put them over the top is ALL have W/D hookups available in either the wardrobe or pantry. Let the consumer decide if they want to have a W/D or use it for storage. At least the wiring and plumbing would be there. I can't imagine it would be that more expensive to run the lines. Why cannot this be done?
It's not that it _can't_ be done. It just wasn't. It'll add a few bucks sure but it's not impossible. As to why it wasn't done? I cannot speak on the factory's behalf. perhaps a member of their team could provide better insights
I was just going to ask you about the w/d prep that was mentioned at the beginning of this video description and where it is. I'm guessing that was an added typo?! 🤦
Beautiful 5th wheel residential looking close to perfect floorplan loaded with quality standard features in a traditional towable travel trailer👍but once again it was very disappointing to see a cheap Dollar Store 4” fart fan in the bathroom of an upscale RV😩
Would like to see a hanging light over the island, might as well give it the same look qs the other similar floor plans,it DOES GIVE MORE AMBIANCE and a classier look. Just my opinion, for what its worth.
I have a KZ Connect with 2 ACs and was able to run both on 30 amp this summer. The floorplan I have is similar to this. I like the features that are standard on the Alliance. I hope to own one someday.
Forget the guests, this is a superb couplers TT. Alliance is really doing some great things with TT to match their 5th wheels. Hey when traveling you don't fix lunch, you buy it. 3/4 ton needed.
This is excellent! A couple nitpiking is the open storage in the bath and only 20lb LP tanks. I think this is the best organized pass through storage I have seen. Even have a clip to hold the socket for the legs. Battery shutoff is up out of the way and the picnic table is well supported in the ceiling.

I personally *really* like the 294 layout but if I were traveling, then I'd go with one of these. Rear kitchens are some of my favorites but best used for short trips and destinations since all your storage bounces behind axles Another key factor to consider: Window placement between the two
Hey Josh, Looking for this exact floorplan in a 30' travel trailer with bathroom access while traveling. Center island is nice but not a deal breaker with more counter space in the kitchen as a trade off.
I just picked up my Delta 292RL this week. Looks great and actually was ordered with three AC’s…The TV size and built in speaker is really cool. Oddly - the kitchen sink does not drain unless an electric pump is utilized. I’ve never seen something like this - have you?
With a few changes in this unit like where the pantry is, it looks like my Grand Design Imagine 2970RL. I took that 40in tv out of mine and with an adjustment to the tv adapter, I installed a 43in. In my unit. Even the counter tops are the same. In the bathroom same shower, same cubbies, same sink, but I have a slide door on the bathroom. The decor is also the same, same storage in the bedroom.
Personally I love this unit, I just wish GD would have put a larger stove like the 21" instead of the 17". I also stuck a 43" Samsung TV in it replacing that 40 " Roku, not much for Roku. Just had to relocate the bracket. It's like having a 5th wheel though and I don't have to walk through the bathroom. LOL Easy to tow, I have a 3/4 ton Ram Diesel.@@evakayarflin5548
This was one of our finalists when we bought at the Hershey show a few months ago. We wound up with the Bullet 287RLS instead tho since it had a few things we wanted, and wasn't BROWN. The delta was awesome, but didn't have certain things that were deal breakers we wanted for quite a bit more than what we bought. We are getting ready to pick up our new RV this weekend and are super excited. Can't wait to see your video on the model we did get. Great video and thanks for covering it!
@@alexanderclabo3109 bullet had power stabilizers, better solar options(we got the 440i w/inverter), we LOVED the interior colors, it's about a foot and a half shorter, came with a booth dinette and not chairs/table standard, convection microwave standard and it was over $7k LESS than the delta. Only way to get power stabilizers on the delta 292rl was to spend an additional $3k for auto leveling. Both were 50amp, 2 ACs, heated underbelly. Delta has tank heaters but for basically 10k less than a similarly equipped delta we got 440w solar, 2k inverter, dinette we preferred, WDH, a max air fan for the bathroom(w/rain cover), and a full 3 camera system from furrion. Build quality didn't seem any better to me, some materials were nicer in the delta but we're not living in it. We got torsion axels, GY endurance tires, standard too. Was just a better value, even tho we liked the centered stove and kitchen window, and floor flush slides better on the delta. If it was a $5k difference, it would have been a harder choice but we still liked the look of the Bullet better.
I love the way Alliance builds their rvs. If only they had a true outdoor kitchen model I would buy one today. And I mean a kitchen with a real sink not a hose and a dog dish, that is not a kitchen. And if anyone wants to run dual a/c units on 30 amp service in any rv just install a soft start unit on them.
Been running Dual AC on 30 amps in my 90's Winnebago with the Powerline System without the need for a soft start or any other modifications. They came capable of this from the factory. Just turn everything on and the Powerline System that was Standard Equipment would orchestrate things so both AC would run simultaneously and then on those occasions where you ran a microwave, hair dryer, toaster, coffee pot, etc, etc would automatically turn the electric water heater off, switch the refrigerator to propane, turn the fans to a lower speed, etc, etc and only turn off the second AC unit when there was absolutely no other choice. Perhaps I've been spoiled by already having this for around 30 years now however its not really anything new or cutting edge. 20 amp was the one AC at a time limit even back then. Best!
Josh, you didn't mention one of Alliance's best offerings - the slideout buttons in the front bay! You told us about the remote awning buttons, but didn't say anything about the slideeout controls there.
Really like this one. Basically similar to the Rockwood 2906 they made. Really like this one. If we wanted to replace e our 2902WS this would likely be it unless we were downsizing.
Positives: The usual "RLS" layout except with a loaded 1000# hitch weight, leaving plenty of my 3000# cargo rating (and my bed) for other things. Kitchen prep area is great with that pantry out of the way. No kitchen toe-jammer. Negatives: My F250 is a 7.3 gasser, and navigating gas stops along the road is sometimes already a challenge with my 26' TT, would be a real issue with 34' of camper. The fridge/freezer is too small. Overall: Definitely considering this for our next TT, along with the 29RL.
We love these new trailers. Trying to decide between the 292rl or the rk. Leaning toward the rl for a couple reasons. Having dump valves at both ends of the rk is a major pain for weekend trips where there are no sewer hookups at the site. Have to dump the pooper and wash it out then unhook and hook the grays at the rear and dump. People behind me will not be happy. On both units the bathroom fan is not reachable without a stool for anyone under 5'7" which is everyone in my family except me. We just crack the vent in our current camper and the fan has a wall switch. What would wall switch for the fan cost while they are building? $5 maybe. Can't upgrade to a fan switch without tearing out the walls. Also even a small shower seat would be great. My wife is a leg shaver thank goodness but not a contortionist. Just a couple of small changes and this could be the greatest game changer in a while. This camper is closest I've seen to exactly what we want for a final seniors camper. Super nice, super functional. Get after em Josh! Rick
Love this layout. The biggest concern we had watching this was the proximity of the TV to the stove. Frying anything? Grease will get into the TV, “You’re NOT the one that I want.”
Well done but still shades of brown. Would’ve been nice to see light cabinets whether it be light wood tones or painted. The cabinetry kind of overpowers the space and to me it makes it look smaller. So many great features here and Alliance is already establishing a great reputation. I’ll be spending lots of time in my RV of course and waking up to that décor daily wouldn’t be my favorite thing. Maybe they’ll consider a lighter décor option down the road.
This is one of my favourite floor plans, the changes they made up the game a bit. (Can you tell I’m having a bit of a binge on the RV videos today lol) #nerdherd
I really think Delta is the best implementation of this floorplan. Its minor but the pantry location next to the tv has always kinda bugged my visually, add to that the dual air on 30 amp and the exterior storage size and its an easy pick for me. Curiosity I have though, considering so many (i believe all) Alliance fifth wheels are 101 inch wide body, is there a limitation for travel trailers that prevents it the wider unit? Wondering if there is a mechanical reason or if they wanted to make sure they didn't venture to far outside the lines for their first attempt.
I don't believe so but will verify and circle back with an edit if that's not correct *[EDIT]: well.. that’s why I trust but verify. I was incorrect. It is tankless*
Overall a nice rig. 2 ACs are a necessity down here, and being able to run both on 30 amp is outstanding, even with the concessions. If RV manufacturers refused to buy furniture with the thigh-buster USB ports, the furniture mfrs would fix the problem. What size is that oven? If you said, I missed it. As a cranky old broad and former HR pro, I'm not the least bit offended by your quirkiness.
Josh, is the oven the small easy bake oven, or the larger 20", tankless waterheater? Love the entertainment area inside, wish they could have put the TV outside like the RK. IS there a large price difference between the two? Seems the Rk was a little smaller. We love them both. Duuuh.
They use the smaller ovens on these. I believe they are using on-demand water heaters, but a local person. Can double check for you. They can also verify pricing as I’m not in sales and don’t have Price Files in front of me
Josh, you my friend are the absolute best, my man, you have been way more helpful then you'll ever know. You always find describe and point out all the most pertinent points to me as if I were the one buying or shopping these rigs. All I can do and say for right now is THANKYOU,YOUR. THE. BEST IN THE ENTIRE USA. THANKS FOR WHAT YOU DO. BISHES I HOPE YOU HERE THIS. NOTHING BUT THE. TRUTH!!!!!!!
A little late to the comments, but overall I like this rig. A few questions. 1. Is the ceiling flat or round? 2. What is the actual height in the shower? Being 6’7”, I understand having my head in the skylight, but also don’t want to be hunched over. I’m considering this vs the winnebago voyage 3235.
Rockwood and Ember have longer versions of this Floorplan. I think it's great that they kept it under 35 feet. I think Alliance is out imagining Imagine.......I'm curious how Hemispheritage Glen's 2024 version stacks up against them!
How thick is the tow frame. I've heard of some people going over a bumpy road and hitch frame where the front of the camper bends down, as the frame to thin to handle weight and bump. Just curious.😊
There are no factory allowances for one. I think I mis-stated that in the video. That front bed/bath closet might have enough size but it does not include hookups
We LOVE the kitchen and living room, but, NOT the shower (too small) and there's no breeze windows in the bedroom at the head of the bed (we like fresh air when we sleep).
@@JoshtheRVNerd I'm not sure what it is, but it definitely seems you can somehow see through to the outside in the middle of the side trim of the slide. It's got to be some crazy reflection, or maybe it's those fish eye lenses you use all the time (lol).
Apologies - I'm not able to know your vehicle's capacities based on just GCWR and cannot give you a definitive answer as a result. I've seen half tons with curb weights from 4000-6000 so it could go either way. Even if possible, then you'd be really pushing EVERYTHING that truck could handle
@@JoshtheRVNerd 😆 I assumed you were trying to avoid a UA-cam problem by saying something like Smith & Wesson. I guess you could’ve just said “protection” and covered scenarios. Anyhow, thanks for another video.!!
Josh, is this a 50 amp or a 30 amp? I know you can run both Acs on 30, but is it a 30 amp shore cord? Haven't taken delivery yet, waiting for it to show up.
I do like thes floorplans, but I'd hate to spend this kind of money on a trailer only to have to take an axe to chop the divider out of the theater seat. #RVNerdHerd
lol I get it Was talking with ember about theater seating yesterday and shared how a growing number of people are disliking hard, fixed arm rests and prefer a folding type I _am_ trying man
Im just gonna be that picky Nancy here. Im not a tv user..Havent watched tv since 1990. But for others..it would be nice if they could mske the tv hidden..televator, that what thats called? Plus they get dusty fast and its so close to the top burners of stove. Idk. Rest of it seems nice.
I’m not an electrician but sounds kinda dangerous to have just 30 amps when if you have both ac’s on you have to cut one off to use the micro.Josh you might want to research that a little more and explain that in a little more detail.Sounds to me and again I’m not an electrician that I would rather have 50 amps and be able to go full throttle with my electricity use but that’s just me.Thats my two cents worth and it’s really not worth 2 cents maybe 1/2 penny.
You know something about these ribs, full time is not a true feature, a small refrigerator, an oven you can only make cookies or a small frozen pizza in, a less than a full size microwave. Many comprises, for a couple, wishing to eat in. And a smallish closet. These things are not that heavy in comparison and with alliances buying power could make across the board up grades. So stop saying that great for couples! It’s not, it’s adequate
I don't personally disagree. But I would say I've met all kinds of folks during my time in this business. What is "Full time capable" really depends on what that person expects and tolerates I've seen people full time RV for years in something as small and basic as a wolf pup 16FQ I couldn't do it personally. But Some folks love the simplicity I've found

TY
Rockwood and Ember have longer versions of this Floorplan. I think it's great that they kept it under 35 feet.
I think Alliance is out imagining Imagine.......I'm curious how Hemispheritage Glen's 2024 version stacks up against them!
HeriGlen footage coming soon!
How thick is the tow frame. I've heard of some people going over a bumpy road and hitch frame where the front of the camper bends down, as the frame to thin to handle weight and bump.
Just curious.😊
Apologies I am not provided with frame specs
🎉#NerdHerd......
Where can you fit a washer and dryer?
There are no factory allowances for one. I think I mis-stated that in the video. That front bed/bath closet might have enough size but it does not include hookups
How about a televator for more counter space?
It could be done. Some folks have
I myself prefer a swingout TV for couch viewing but that can also have its own up and down swings
We LOVE the kitchen and living room, but, NOT the shower (too small) and there's no breeze windows in the bedroom at the head of the bed (we like fresh air when we sleep).
Fair. TY as always, Didi
@@JoshtheRVNerd You are welcome Uncle Josh and I also want to thank you for sharing these videos, you are AWESOME! 🤗
I like this Delta travel trailer, but, the shower is tight and the driver's side bedroom window is too far away from the headboard.
At 7:08 you can see outside the camper through where there should be a seal in the camp side slide. Any idea why?
Are you seeing the daylight bleed up thru a window valance? Seals are not visible at that time stamp
@@JoshtheRVNerd I'm not sure what it is, but it definitely seems you can somehow see through to the outside in the middle of the side trim of the slide. It's got to be some crazy reflection, or maybe it's those fish eye lenses you use all the time (lol).
Why can I see daylight through the slide ends? That seems really off to me.
Do you have a minute marker I can reference?
Compares with Cougars!
yeah Delta came out swinging with some solid stuff
Can it be towed with ½ton, max towi g pkg with gcwr of 14000 lbs
Apologies - I'm not able to know your vehicle's capacities based on just GCWR and cannot give you a definitive answer as a result.
I've seen half tons with curb weights from 4000-6000 so it could go either way. Even if possible, then you'd be really pushing EVERYTHING that truck could handle
😅 12:03 my “watch” will be stored there. 😉.
...trying to figure out why you put that in "
And wondering if I even want to know
@@JoshtheRVNerd 😆 I assumed you were trying to avoid a UA-cam problem by saying something like Smith & Wesson. I guess you could’ve just said “protection” and covered scenarios. Anyhow, thanks for another video.!!
What size are the ac’s?
Last I knew they were standard with a 27,000btu air system
Which means dual 13.5k
Josh, is this a 50 amp or a 30 amp? I know you can run both Acs on 30, but is it a 30 amp shore cord? Haven't taken delivery yet, waiting for it to show up.
50amp standard with dual A/C standard
Thankyou AGAIN YOUR AWSOME AS WE ALL KNOW!!! YOU MAKE LIFE EASY GOD BLESS!!!!
ok so does the Alliance Delta 292rl not have an external LP Connect point ?? why does not 1 video on UA-cam not show it if it doe ??
I feel like it does but cannot remember overtly. Let me ask my factory contact..
@@JoshtheRVNerdmuch appreciated
Folding laundry😅
wykyk
My 22 silverado 1500 lt deisel (baby deisel) 10 speed Alison Trans will have no problem handling this as unit!!!
just about any half ton will pull it the problem lies in the weight on the axel and springs
I do like thes floorplans, but I'd hate to spend this kind of money on a trailer only to have to take an axe to chop the divider out of the theater seat. #RVNerdHerd
lol I get it
Was talking with ember about theater seating yesterday and shared how a growing number of people are disliking hard, fixed arm rests and prefer a folding type
I _am_ trying man
Im just gonna be that picky Nancy here. Im not a tv user..Havent watched tv since 1990. But for others..it would be nice if they could mske the tv hidden..televator, that what thats called? Plus they get dusty fast and its so close to the top burners of stove. Idk. Rest of it seems nice.
For this kind of money.. you SHOULD be picky!
@@JoshtheRVNerd true there
Sorry but the only thing worse than slides is slides with plumbing, electrical and gas constantly moving and stressing no go !
Loose barn door so you mount TV in bedroom
Would a swinging door work?
Yes
What is "Full time capable" really depends on what that person expects and tolerates
I've seen people full time RV for years in something as small and basic as a wolf pup 16FQ
I couldn't do it personally. But Some folks love the simplicity I've found
