After winning teams, SFAT was super happy and was not doing anything while Pew and Axe had their set and he had this conversation with Mang0 during that set:
Mang0: Hey Zac, aren't you gonna warm up or something?
SFAT: Nah man I'm feeling super good right now, I don't need to warm up.
*Proceeds to get 3-0'd*

SFAT getting dumped on is the most entertaining thing to watch in Melee
I literally think I haven't ever seen SFAT win a singles match in any VBGC match I've watched. I know he's a doubles god though.
Its sad tbh, I know he's obviously good but he is literally that overhyped jobber anime character and its sad. oh well.
he did 3-0 hbox and beat mango before though so yeah (and those sets are easy to find too)

Alex Dang the antithesis of this mindset is the reason why there aren't more relatively new/breakout players challenging the top top level competitors like Armada MaNg0, m2k, Hbox, Leffn, ppmd(comeback soon), Axe, sfat, etc. Earlier in their careers. It's also the reason why it takes so long for mid level players to make the leap into high tier top 25 player status. Rishi/SmashG0d, Zain, Syrox, King Momo, etc. are def a breath of fresh air in this regard.

You're sleeping on Chu. He has a 3-0 record vs mango and a 3-1 record vs m2k still this year. Chu at Smash Con lost to Zain who ended up placing top 8, and SFAT. At EVO he lost to The Moon who ended up placing top 8 and SFAT. His problem is that for EVO he was preparing too much for Hbox that he wasnt prepared for SFAT.

@Zain explain urself: when does the uthrow no DI pivot tipper actually work? And does it accomplish the same thing as walk forward tipper?
I don't know the % range but I know there are certain situations where it will hit and walk forward tipper won't, iirc primarily when they DI straight up at certain percents.
I'm curious about this too.
