I've been following Duran Duran ad their projects since their inception. Great interview enjoyed listening to Nick, Simon and John brilliant men. Great legacy, memories and more to come!
I loved this interview/discussion, the guys seemed relaxed and very honest. Not to say they don't usually tell the truth, but there was an openness here that was refreshing and felt like a chat amongst friends that just happened to have an audience.
It is always a pleasure to hear talented and passionate musicians like Duran Duran. By the way, if I have to pick only one song from their incredibly strong legacy it would probably be Save a Prayer.
It's so interesting watching them in these current interviews and then watching their old 80's interviews. Just saw them on tour in Vegas, they were amazing.
Simon's style of writing music is very much like how I come up with a new design for my online Shop!! It's just like never ending!! Recycling is the word😉
When everything is handled so generously- to your public-- there is the key to real, from its beginning; fame. It's the reason for your getting to where you guys are.
What a bloody brilliant awesome amazing interview 🙂 enrol ya done an amazing album I totally understand ya brilliant go and make remixes of future past on night versions and remixes Which Duran Duran avent done for yrs go for buddy let's ear um ok enjoy ok thanks
Actually besides Simon's voice wish they would mix something different kind of like the power station or even allow us to hear some of John's solo stuff when they do live shows even if it is Simon that sings those songs
Ok, I freakin loved DD since 1981.. Planet Earth, Late Bar, Faster Than Light, Fame...etc... They were the leaders of revolutionary music back then and I seriously dug them! But... after Andy left, they lost a part of themselves... They started blending in with the trendy music of the time and lost their luster.. Granted they had a few great songs along the way.."Nice"... "Ordinary World" "Come Undone"...Some good tunes from "Red Carpet Massacre"...those were DISTINCT DD songs. After that, all their songs sounded the same... there was nothing for the 80s DD fans to dig into and love... and there really weren't any "new" fans. They need to go back to their roots... David Bowie, Roxie Music, Chic...find their soul and reason for making groundbreaking music again! Just my stupid opinion though.
Yawn. Why the same question about what's their favorite videos from the 80's? Min 38:00 . Aren't you people sick and tired of asking the same question? cause I'm sure tired as heck of hearing it. That woman is stuck in the 80's and haven't heard anything they've done after 84. Another question wasted by a "fan" who last song she heard from DD was the reflex. SMFH.
Yeah yeah I sure am tired too but with people like you 🥱 next time be there to ask a better question or comment (like “the color of the shirt Simon should be wearing) 🤡
I am so happy for Duran Duran for being inducted into the Hall of Fame 2023! 23:30 !
I have loved them since 1981, nothing's changed they feel like they are my 'brothers' they bring so much joy listening to and watching them.
Keep playing your instruments. Duran Duran members are talented musicians. Just saw them on May 31st. Great show!
LOVE them, so many great memories, they are a favorite! LEGENDS!
Respect & Admiration for each other is the Secret sauce I can see!!!❤️😉😉😉

I have been a fan of Duran Duran since 1982, love these guys, all of them!

Wise words from Simon on how bands can stay together.

@@klods8955 Do you wear color shirts when you sweat like a pig? Yeah, I thought so.
Simon`s having a soar throat or something ?
John looks really diabetic here.
Simon, wear a white shirt next time dear.
why, is that symbol of something? he always seems to wear white based on the vids i've seen of them in recent concerts.
oh wait i think i get it. his stuff is uncut unlike NYC :( haha (jokey jokes)
