Brilliant video as always Paul. You mentioned that the tool could also do keys - please could you show us that process in a follow up video ? Thank you.
I don’t have the tool yet, but my sister car sat for around 2 years during covid (500 Twinair) whilst she used her partners as he was working from home, had a seized alternator by that point, needed a service and the central part of the speedo with fuel status, temp and mileage was all broken, sent it away to ECU Testing and got it back saying can’t be fixed. Got a speedo from a same year Twinair but it has less miles on it and it’s flashing. It went through last years MOT with 0 recorded miles as it was illegible at the time. Currently got 60k on and flashing but the car will have nearer to 90k on by estimate. Due to her lack of maintenance and never seeing the car for so long it’s a bit of a guess. Would this tool sort it to increase it? And is it flashing because it’s lower than the car thinks it has. Got just over a month before MOT so if you think it can sort it would it be possible to email the files to me? Thanks Christian
Yes this will but if the new Speedo has less miles you can use multiecuscan to do it and also do a proxy alignment. It’s flashing because the body computer is looking for the original. A proxy alignment after adjusting mileage will stop the flashing.
@@Love500 If had a look at it in simulation mode and if I click into “Engine Management” and “Parameters”, would the odometer reading tell me the actual mileage of the car that I need to adjust to, rather than having to guess? Great I have an Fiat ducato 2013 (auto camper) that I changed the speedometer in and now it says 126000 kilometers instead of the 78000 it had on the old one, so my question is, does this one work on my Ducato 250?
I can’t say for sure. If you look at the manufacturer page it lists vehicles it will work on but that’s no guarantee. I emailed them and asked about the 500 and they said no, but they then came out with the beta patch that made it work so unfortunately it’s a gamble.

I don't think this unit is chargeable I left mine hooked up to the power supply for a couple of hours and it wouldn't power up without the power supply connected. The manual is lousy very little information even about simple questions. It has an attachment for an EEPROM adaptor. It talks about unsoldering EEPROM and soldering it into a unit; are they talking about reprograming the ECM? No information in the manual available online. Nothing about how to actually program a key?
It allegedly does far more than mileage correction however you’re right, not much in the way of instructions. You’re also right about power, it is only powered by the OBD. I’ve not tried a key as I have the other tool for that but I’m sure it could be used for far more. It’s not very helpful when it comes to identifying what vehicles it can be used on either.
@@Love500Does that mean that we would need to readjust km after lets say, battery change? Does it matter if CEM has diff km stored than speedo meter? Thankful for reply. Kindly Regards
@@europaxosha3128 No not at all, once it's set it doesn't need changing. A new battery on these cars doesn't require any kind of reset.
