Here's part 2 in in my lesson series about how to play chop chords on the mandolin. In this video, we'll be looking at how to get that bluegrass bark sound out of your chop chords and figure out some different strum patterns to use for these shapes.

This video is really helpful in understanding chop chords. Still hate the sound of chop chords, but it is beneficial to understand the how and why of things you dislike as well as things you like. 🙂🙃

I would love to be good at the mandolin, but I cant reach these (esp G) I have big hands but my little finger navigates in the way .. Its a nightmare !!
