Ignoring biology leads to a lot of internal conflict and depression. Good film, cast selection, and script. The women were all so beautiful & acted well. Her mother was gorgeous, the village girl was adorable & her husband was sweet too. Both leads were good looking, but her acting was faaar better than his!? I just didn't like the cheap dancing at allll, because while "ChammakChalloo" was a good dancer, the men in the background behaved badly, and looked very vulgar - Especially one young fellow in the green shirt - Yikes!! Good story, I'm glad I watched the entire movie. I was tempted to fold after the songs & the over acting but the film improved & I was interested to know how India is handling all this surrogacy & "modern parenting". As far as experiencing motherhood. Back in the day it was considered something all women dreamed of - My mother loved having us, I loved having mine, but times have changed and the world has changed. It's best to respect & support the decision our children make for their own lives, and not impose our views & wishes on them. Considering the population is not such a bad idea, & bringing a child into this world today may or may not be as tempting as was some years ago. Plus, there are also so many children that are deprived & desperate for a loving home & parents to care for them. Adoption is a "No Pain & Only Gain" situation for the mother, and a brighter future for a child. I see it as a win-win situation!! Another Perspective & Point✍of View, to think about.
