    Hello, do you apply any releases on the bars to create pinned connection or you let them fixed ? Thank you in advance for the answer.

      Hi, its all pinned connected. At the beginning we used pin connection for the entire bridge.When selecting the truss all connection is pinned.

      Hope all is well. Based on experience, prior to becoming a college professor, I worked for 35 as professional engineer involved in building many bridges.

    Sir, if the thickness of the concrete deck is 10in and the depth of the W18x97 section is 18.6 inches, the offset between the centroid of the cross beam and the centroid of the concrete deck will be 9.3+5= 14.3 inches, so why did you use a value of 18 inches? Thanks
