Eventually making and producing Nuclear Weaponry. The Axis attacks America and decimates it's government until the Soviets and British take out the Reich. After World War 2 the U.S is divided. The East side of America now consists of the 13 original American colonies. This section is of once called the East coast, is called United Colonies of America. Pennsylvania is the main power in this part of America. With Pittsburgh being the country's Capital. The West Side of America was decimated by Nuclear fire. Eventually The California Republic falls. It becomes a communist country for a while. This part of America is called United Communist California The UCC attacks UCA. UCA has the upper hand, at first. The UCC launches Missiles targeting The White House and the Pentagon. The White house was destroyed but the Pentagon stayed living. UCA was crippled. The American War was coming to a close. However, in this timeline, something goes horribly wrong. In 2013, the Supreme Court rules that instead of giving students freedom to express concern and talk with the staff and adminitration (directly/indirectly), the tracking standards on almost every school will be increased to the extreme. Not only will filtering protocols be used, but GPS tracking, calls, and a personal watcher will keep the students in line. This causes massive unrest in the national student body, and the Board of Education. On top of this, many websites (Wikipedia, UA-cam, and others) are either highly watched and recorded or simply banned entirely. Google, even to some extent, will be filtered to filter out "bad" content, much like in China and Saudi Arabia. Worried that the government is becoming less of a democracy and more like a communist state, many areas start to consider revolt, but hold it up until last resort. The next push comes when the internet starts to be filtered starting with cafes, gas stations, and even libraries. The citizens try to use their voting rights & influence to gain leverage on the concern, but it's difficult considering what's already in place. Many people then start taking drastic measures, including not voting at all, not paying taxes, and even threats to the government. The breaking point comes in 2016, after years of tension and mockery, the government decides to BAN ALL INTERNET ACCESS TO EVERY CITIZEN, except for members of the government. The British government threatens members of the commonwealth with invasion if they do not succumb to British dominance in their affairs. Gradually, the countries Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and the ex-colonies in Africa are brought under British control. Now Britain's two main enemies are the US and India. Britain is now the dominant superpower once more. It crushes the Indian republic, and gains the eastern US states through negotiation.

here's my country idea: The Republic of Colorado. what happens is during the civil war, colorado territory not only beats the csa at glorietta pass, but continues south taking all of new mexico. however robert e. lee is able to take washington dc ultimately leading to a u.s. surrender and it being completely dissolved. the csa takes all u.s. states and territories except for california, nevada, arizona, new mexico colorado, utah, oregon, alaska, idaho and montana. Here's my idea. Name: The Tribes Northwest American tribes become extremely technologically advanced and conquer other tribes in North and South America but allows them to keep their beliefs and identity. They get to the point of Civil War era technology by the 1400's and begin to conquer Asia and spread through Russia to Europe and begin to genocide everyone that they come across to make room for Indian settlers. When the ship landed on Kepler 22-B, the Hungarians declared the planet, as their own, and so the Hungarian Empire became The Hungarian Intergalactical Empire, and the most advanced human civilization. Later, other countries settled on different Earth-like planets.

The Axis attacks America and decimates it's government until the Soviets and British take out the Reich. After World War 2 the U.S is divided. The East side of America now consists of the 13 original American colonies. This section is of once called the East coast, is called United Colonies of America. Pennsylvania is the main power in this part of America. With Pittsburgh being the country's Capital.
The West Side of America was decimated by Nuclear fire. Eventually The California Republic falls. It becomes a communist country for a while. This part of America is called United Communist California
The UCC attacks UCA. UCA has the upper hand, at first. The UCC launches Missiles targeting The White House and the Pentagon. The White house was destroyed but the Pentagon stayed living. UCA was crippled. The American War was coming to a close. UCC would have won if it wasn't for another country. TEXAS.
Texas became it's own country after WW2. They kept to themselves mostly only trading with UCA. They were uninvolved with the war. They only stepped in so they could keep trade with UCA. The new government, called the People's Republic of The World, throws over the old democratic one, and begins to revive the dead war machine to conquer all South America under communist dictatorship. However, an internal power struggle with people who don't want a communist government forms a new Democracy, the New California Republic. The NCR takes over all present day California, Arizona, and New Mex. They declare war on the Communist regime, with their forces being spread thin due to wars on many fronts. The NCR had a lesser army, but only needed to fight on one front. They were successful in taking over the Rockies, and pushed into the Capitol of DC, establishing the Third American Republic, and taking most of old Canada...
Mexico, Alaska, and Hawaii. They leave the countries of South America that wanted to remain independent to rebuild with financial support. This would take about 2077, when the bombs drop in the Fallout universe. By now, it has been more than 100 years since the bombs dropped, and radiation levels have gone down enough to begin to rebuild. The TAR goes on to become a new world superpower, allied with Britian, France, and Democratic China and Japan.

In our timeline, the internet in the US and our allies is relitvely well.
However, in this timeline, something goes horribly wrong.
In 2013, the Supreme Court rules that instead of giving students freedom to express concern and talk with the staff and adminitration (directly/indirectly), the tracking standards on almost every school will be increased to the extreme. Not only will filtering protocols be used, but GPS tracking, calls, and a personal watcher will keep the students in line. This causes massive unrest in the national student body, and the Board of Education.
On top of this, many websites (Wikipedia, UA-cam, and others) are either highly watched and recorded or simply banned entirely. Google, even to some extent, will be filtered to filter out "bad" content, much like in China and Saudi Arabia.
Worried that the government is becoming less of a democracy and more like a communist state, many areas start to consider revolt, but hold it up until last resort.
The next push comes when the internet starts to be filtered starting with cafes, gas stations, and even libraries. The citizens try to use their voting rights & influence to gain leverage on the concern, but it's difficult considering what's already in place. Many people then start taking drastic measures, including not voting at all, not paying taxes, and even threats to the government.
The breaking point comes in 2016, after years of tension and mockery, the government decides to BAN ALL INTERNET ACCESS TO EVERY CITIZEN, except for members of the government. The channels for education on UA-cam, Vimeo, and other sites that are still being used in other countries are stunned by it's decision.
Those people on those sites gather their fanbases and then go to their governments to origin to try and lessen the restrictions through ambassadorship, but to no avail, as the government refuses all attempts.
When that doesn't work, sanctions are put in place, thinking that it would push towards lessening restrictions However, this soon backfires as it starts to weaken the economy.
Finally, the channels (who are now forces of their government due to their education methods), snap in a rage against the US government. In response to the cyber iron fist, AlternateHistoryHub, SciShow, Khan Academy, Codeacademy, The Game Theorists, Numberphile and most notably Vsauce, decide to wage a cyberwar against the now communist(?) US. It affects everything from prices, security, to even personal information.
It's economy is fueled by Tor relays now taking the job of the formally public internet.Money is made by trading cryptocurrency ,namely Bitcoin & Litecoin, and others. Computers and technology are it's specialties, not to mention hacking.
It's government is a democratic republic, like the US's former. Cybercrime is nonexistent is this confederation as all citizens start with a clean slate for their digital life. Tor is encouraged as a stealth mecanism and browser, as well as advanced antivirus software and firewalls.
Today, the war against internet dominance rages with the US, China, North Korea, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and others forming the Netcutoff Federation, and the UA-cam channels' home countries (Britain, Japan, Australia, Greenland, Canada, etc.) in the The Vsaucian Internet Defense Confederation. what happens is during the civil war, colorado territory not only beats the csa at glorietta pass, but continues south taking all of new mexico. however robert e. lee is able to take washington dc ultimately leading to a u.s. surrender and it being completely dissolved.
the csa takes all u.s. states and territories except for california, nevada, arizona, new mexico colorado, utah, oregon, alaska, idaho and montana. These states/territorys became their own countries. Colorado, flooded with u.s. refugees from the confederate takeover led to a much higher population. During much of the duration of ww1 Colorado grew more and more tired of confederate caused skirmishes around the border. Colorado eventually declares war. Backed by all the free previous u.s states and or territotys colorado conquers all confederate land west of the Mississippi River. the csa surredures giving Colorado all land west of the Mississippi River. With all this new territory, Colorado didn't want to be seen as an empire and formed the Republic of Colorado. Today it is allied with all the free previous u.s states and or territorys and has high standards of living today. it engaged in both ww2 and the cold war, sometimes even going face to face alone against the soviet union and the now communist csa. With the collapse of the ussr. the csa also collapses and Colorado seizes the territory. Later in the 90's ,Colorado offered all the previous u.s states and territories if they would help reform the United States. they accepted and the u.s was reborn with D.C. as its capital again. Although the Republic of Colorado was dissolved and was returned to the same state it is today, it went down in the history books as the country who face both nazi fascism, soviet communism, but also reunited a world power

Italy and Rome would split France, taking African Colonies, but leaving Free France with Brittany. The Roman’s took the south of England, but let the north go. Holland is Also released, and the Europeans all work together to defeat communism in a Democratic - Facist Alliance. The USSR falls shortly, and Italy, Germany, and Neo Rome are large influential power today leading the UN. Go Rome!

Hungary almost lost the battle of Mohács though, so the king decided to make a huge army and conquer some other smaller countries, so Hungary can be bigger and stronger. The idea was very succesful, they even conquered Germany, Italy and some parts of Russia.

In the year 2030, The Hungarian Empire started the "EXO_Project", inwich they built the "Telepes-A1" [Te-le-pesh/Settler] Space ship prototype to inhabit the planet Kepler 22-B. The test launch wasn't succesful, so they reconsidered the ship's design, and in 2032, the "Telepes-A2" was made. The Telepes-A2 was much better, so they chose it to finally bring the Human race to a new era, and to a new planet.
When the ship landed on Kepler 22-B, the Hungarians declared the planet, as their own, and so the Hungarian Empire became The Hungarian Intergalactical Empire, and the most advanced human civilization.
