I live in NH and spend a lot of time in VT. I didn't know Burlington had so much to do with the war of 1812 and I will definitely be incorporating this information into a Burlington weekend I'm planning! If anything happens I'll be sure to send in a story!

I don't know if this matters but I'm a dude and I love the podcast. I'm a skeptic and a Atheist but also curious about everything paranormal including ghosts, demons, spirits, even cryptids like bigfoot, mothman, lochness monster, aliens etc.

I have an oval birthmark close to the bottom of my palm ✋ that lowkey reminds me of somewhere a nail would go in during a crucifixion (not trying to be dark af nor do I think I was Jesus in a past life fyi 😅).
Anyway, when y’all were talking about the possibility of birthmarks that appear later in life predicting your death, I remembered that the one I have on my right thumb under my nail is one I got as a teenager…

Wouldn't it be a blessing if someone [or many someones] with the gift of contacting the dead could go to Gettysburg (or other sites of mass trauma; like NYC 9/11) and cross them over - give them rest & a conclusion to their wandering this earthly realm. Oh that would be so gratifying & helpful to these souls unable to find peace. I would call that a Divine Purpose. I wish I had such a gift...

You guys just reminded me of something that happened. To me when. I was 12.... I went to a fort museum with my family In Kansas we was on vacation just passing Through. Anyways My dad was paying for us 3 kids and mom so me being 12 went snooping and I walked up stairs.
I saw a door open just enough. To see in it and I saw a civil war Guy laying in bed and looked pretty beat up and some nurse taking care Of him.
I smelled. The blood and the Guy didn't talk. But I understood him loud and clear I didn't. Belong in their the door closed. And my dad was calling me
