You have to admit, DK had a pretty good singing voice in this cartoon. Just take away the visuals in the song he sings as he's running away and you got a decent stand-alone R&B single!
Krusha in the show actually IS very intelligent, it's just for most of the episodes his brain isn't in his skull. But it gets knocked back into place in one and he was so devious and cunning that he almost overthrew K. Rool in the process.
Krusha being smarter in this episode implies that DK caused him brain damage in the first episode (I think when he knocked out Krusha and the stars appeared around his head)
Times DK screwed it up with Funky. Kong For a Day "Where's my Board" "Gone" "GONE?! YOU PROMISED ME DUDE! YOU GAVE YOUR WORD MIND" "It wasn't my fault somebody took it. I'm sorry." This episode "My BOARD! Karmas gonna get to you dude." And "I can stick my hands in walls like this" (Funky cry) "MY PLANE" "Oops I forgot I'm not invisible" "Your gonna wish you were invisible!"
Kong for a Day is hands down the worst episode. If everybody in an episode has to be clueless for the plot to take off, then you know you've failed as a writer.
how odd, the lipsyncing on the first season didn't match due to it being based off the French Dialogue, but in the second season, not only are the graphics slightly better (in my opinion) but the lipsyncing is almost PERFECTLY MATCHED!! Was the second season made in america?

Sadly this got cancelled and never officially ended and I wonder if this can ever be revived for a final season and give it the proper ending it deserves as this show was crazy for its time :) I bet NICK could get the rights and either Reboot it or finish it up.

1. So, that surfboard was there IN WALKING PATH, just so Funky could remember his past failure? 2. CCTSS... and when he came up with the lock combinations, he didn't give it to Cranky? 3. So, that wall of barrels is set up in a pyramid-formation, just for that scene, and the barrel placed in doorway-walkway is just conviently there? 4. So Diddy whines about that one ball, even though there's so many much more balls left? It's official. I DO feel bad for DK, but there is no logic with this show
This episode is JUST like the original movie "It's a Wonderful Life," minus the christmasy feel of "Kongo Bongo Festival of Lights." To paraphrase Dick Grayson in "Christmas with The Joker," It's about how one ape can really make a difference.

To be honest, it's better if he calls them out for what they said last night about ruining the evening instead of beating them up. And then he rather leave forever, go back but interact with the other kongs less often or just go back and forget what happened.

I love how Krusha is smart here just like before he had his brain damage in Bad Hair Day, which was caused by DK.

I always found it odd that K-Rool has no tail in this series but the DK64 game he does. and he does gameboy games
It was easier for the animators with their CGI to cut his tail. He's wearing a much shorter cape too. Also Dixie's ponytail is shorter.
And Funky Kong Isn't Wearing his Clothes. Just Sunglasses, a Bandana, and Sandals.
