0:46 They're called AAT drivers because that is what that design is in universe. Those specific green markings have never once indicated a Kashyyyk battle droid (except for by Lego) and have always been exclusive to the tank driver battle droid from the Clone Wars series.
@@Fyyurr they are aat driver droids in star wars canon based on the design of the lego minifigures the kashyyyk droids you’re referring to have a different design
Built the AAT this week, it's truly a perfect MOC in my book. This is what i always dreamt of as a child, and now was finally able to fulfill this dream. Tbh, i do prefer the shorter lower legs on the LEGO build, even though they aren't screen accurate.
So, cavite to what you said about the AAT. I believe it is based off the Clone Wars AAT which is different from the movie AAT. The show one did not have the front missile launchers, the side guns were different and the over shape, mainly the turret were different.
Ordered parts on Bricklink. Not sure of the exact cost because it was part of a number of other orders in combination with other vehicles. Brick Vault lists the expected parts cost on their website though, so you may be able to estimate using that.
Everything from Brickvault is great except the AT-RT I might be making instructions or giving my design to Brickvault soon for the AT-RT because mine is actually from research on wikipedia in books and other things and it looks really great and show accurate as well as minifigure scale.
Brick vault has some really amazing models. Some of their Mocs that they advertise as minifig scale are not to scale tho, like the x-wing and Tie fighters. Just a little too big. Cool video tho man.
You should try getting the Umbara AT-RT set as well. Imo it’s the better version of Legos ATRT from Clone Wars but the ROTS ATRT might be the best lego version
@@firebirdbricks I agree. A few months back I actually purchased parts for JKBrickworks' motorized AT-TE build, and I would like to add more custom MOCs to my collection that are about the same size.
hey! i highly recommend you JakobKaiserMocs builds. he has some really good builds. his barc speeder and at rt are the most accurate and my favorites. he also has some droids, like a really good crab droid and a spider dwarf droid.
Totally fair opinion! I think the M5 gunship hits the perfect balance for me between design and affordability of parts. I like the look of the Brick Vault one as well of course!
Mocs just outdo anything LEGO could, maybe besides durability 😂. I have a couple custom republic vehicles from brickvault and they were all cheaper than buying the retired sets from bricklink

Amazing builds! I love how customs don’t really have any limits so the designers can make them however they want.
"Or as they are called here.. AAT Driver"
Man, they are AAT drivers. Just because people nicknamed them Kashyyyk droids, doesn't make it true.
Mocs are really awesome if you don't "play" with them. I got the juggernaut a6 and atte moc but brickvaults mtt and av-7 look so good
Great video! These builds are so cool, definitely wanna pick them up! The aat is absolutely stunning!
Definitely going to be building a lot more customs!
great video man
fun fact :
the droids in the aat actually are drivers ( we saw them in one of the early episodes of the clone wars)
no they arent their kashyyk droid rots came out before clone wars and in the battle of kashyyk they are shown

4:06 they are! That’s why I can’t wait for the new one we are supposed to be getting this year
Great video mate! Really makes me wanna get some more BV models!
This was my first time building Brick Vault stuff and I think I might be hooked.
Beautyful mocs, buy i Think the AV-7 cannon si the most acurate

I enjoyed how this video was more of a comparison than a review. It made it much more engaging
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.

I've built their imperial tank from Rogue One and its a great model. A little flimsy on the back and right side, but it looks great on display.
The child inside me that could never get a normal Lego republic gunship play set, and seeing the moc version just put me in straight awe!
It’s incredible!
Well done, Caleb! This are such great builds. Looking forward to your MOCs
Google AAT battle droid and it shows the green one is the right one
2:24 people are so talented man
Such a dope technique!
Loved the video!! What where those shelves in the back and to your side for organizing pieces? Keep up the good work.
Craftsman nail/screw organizer drawers from Lowe’s!
Awesome video! I think you should make the gunships wings longer! They look a bit too short :)
How much did it cost you to make that custom AAT ?
I suppose that you ordered the parts on Bricklink ?

@@firebirdbricks Thanks ! I do have loads of AAT and that custom one is really good, I need it for my collection :D
Lately I have been working on a mini-LAAT

Any chance you can tell me where to buy those trays you use at 2:49? Thank you. Amazing video btw 🎉
Thanks! You can find them at Harbor Freight.
the AAT is great
The LAAT Gunship was perfect.
I love that walker. I didint knew that the 501 one was oversized lol

The gunship is so much more detailed and clearly better

I was looking at the M5 builds gunship for a sec... I'm very tempted. Good to see it built here.
It’s a great build!
It's a no brainer...MOCs will always be better and have more detail, especially than a $40 set. You get what you pay for.
super! cant wait to see christophis!!!!
Great video. As always. Can you say what lego sourting drawers are u using am loking foward too buy some soo i need some advice.tnx.❤
The are craftsman nail/screw organizer drawers from Lowe’s!
To be fair, I might actually purchase parts for that AAT 👀

Could you tell me what scale they are? I am looking for 1:45 scale to be able to use it with Start War Legion. Cheers
Not sure on the exact scale, sorry! I just know they are very close to Minifigure scale which has a range within itself from my understanding.
This was such an interesting video, well done bro😎💪
Thanks man!
I recommend republic bricks for custom sets he has 100s of star wars models and most are prequel sets
The 501st AT-RT is not sturdy at all. I have it at home and it falls all the time 😅
where can I buy instructions for the m5 gunship?
Shoot a DM to M5 Builds! instagram.com/m5_builds/
what website would you recommend for buying all the seperate lego bricks
if it is bricklink , could you please explain how it works cuz ive tried it before and dont understand it
I buy on bricklink. I made a video about how to use it - you can check it out here: ua-cam.com/video/EMx5_v-6XB4/v-deo.html
I’m a moc builder too and my att broke and I made mine carry more bots and bigger
Bro they look identical to the models in lego star wars the clone wars 👏
The only reason LEGO make inaccurated lego sets because they wanted us to be more creative than we could ever be
your builds are a W and i see why your fans like you
Respect, man!
Who would've guessed using double to triple the amount of pieces gives you more detail lmfao

I personally don’t like the custom gunship due to how tiled it looks
pls link the websites to theese amazing builds
All on brickvault.toys except for the gunship. Look up M5 builds on Instagram!

Push the bricks together
Why does everyone call the green ones kashyyk battle droids. If you watch the clone wars they dive the tanks
Great job
Thanks!
The 2009 ATT is better than both of these
LAAT goated
That Cannons looks MEAN
eh, i think the official aat looks better tho
The old AAT was soo good, the new one is trash, I even like the old set better than your custom one...
Why u show me brickvault

First and these are really good sets!

Second and wow these Mocs are cool
Lego are devolving, u have a small att it has 4 clone troopers 2 b1 battle droids for 125 to 165 dollars
the lego version of the av 7 cannon was definitely better than the custom one
Lego was better
third I am the best
