Ateez are one of my favourite groups! I just love their vibe so much and another thing I absolutely love about ateez is their vocals together! One of my favourite songs by them is "promise" it's a great song. Guys, react to A.C.E (another favourite group of mine) cactus mv and dance practice, it was their debut back in 2017. ^^

Prior to their debut, Ateez were called KQ Fellaz. KQ Fellaz American Training, where the eight members traveled to Los Angeles, California, to train in dance at Movement Lifestyle and Millennium Dance Complex.
KQ Entertainment released 4 dance youtube videos during their time dance training called "KQ Fellaz Performance Video I, II, & III which featured the future Ateez members' dance. Yunho solo dance
For the finale of the series, KQ Fellaz released the single "From" composed and produced by Hongjoong. Ateez has a huge international following due to KQ Fellaz.

Cool thing about Ateez is their crazy story line filled with crazy theories. To make it a little bit more clear or straight up more confusing is they have two sides, the light side and dark 9:52. The order in which they are released is different from the order of their storyline. By release start with Pirate kings by storyline start with Treasure. Starting from the beginning will make the lyrics in Answer make sense when they refer to things like wave and deserts. STAN ATEEZ FOR THE AMOUNT OF TALENT AND PASSION THEY HOLD!!! 3rd album "treasure ep.3:one to all" with 3 music videos "wave" "illusion" and "aurora"
4th album "treasure ep fin: all to action" with one MV "wonderland"
5th album "treasure epilogue:action to answer" one MV "answer"
6th album "zero:fever part.1" with 2 MVs "inception" and "Thankxx"

Hi! This is awesome! Thank you for reacting to them. If you're saying abt their song, yes this is the first time you're reacting to it but for others stuffs, pretty sure you did some reactions; the Black Cat Nero mv, Linkin Park's Numb cover by Hongjoong, Exo's Growl dance cover, and their KQ fellaz performance video.
So as you said, yes, they do have a storyline going on there. The guys in black are their alter egos from another dimension, we thought they were the bad guys, or we call it Halateez (from their song HALA HALA) at first, but you can there they are toasting with each other. Maybe some kind of acceptance?
So this song is kind of a victory songs that recounts on their journey since debut (all the mvs since their debut; (album) Treasure series ). But then again, it's not actually the answer. Cuz as new era goes on; Fever pt. 1 and pt. 2 (albums), we see many things revolves around the prev. albums. So, they definitely are inclined towards each other (wbk).
But then again, it's all a theory. One thing for sure, their concept is pirate based, you can see em in lots of their lyrics, choreographies and some in their mvs. I'm sure you'd love it 🏴☠️
Idek what I'm saying now, there are so many things happening and it's really fun connecting the puzzles and all.
But I REALLY recommend you to watch their mvs in chronological order since debut. You can pay attention to things but it's fine to just enjoy them cuz the hints are so subtle.
I SWEAR, you'll not regret watching them all. Take your time, I'll enjoy it when it's here.

Love your reaction! The same kind of intrigue I felt with the first Ateez video I watched.
They have a huge storyline that runs not only though their MV's, but also live performances and intro teasers that play sometimes before music show appearances (Like Fever at their M2 Comeback Concert), and short films on their youtube channel. There's a lot to unpack and everybody only really has theories they've pieced together! But if that aspect intrigues you it's definitely best to go back to their debut MV (Pirate King) and watch in order.
They have a few choreography videos under the name KQ Fellaz from before their debut that are really interesting to watch because they show that they've never really felt like industry rookies. They have enough talent and charisma that it seems like they've been superstars from the get go.

Start at Pirate King and come forward. Ateez were releasing dance videos as KQ Fellaz before they debuted as Ateez. So if you want you can watch their predebut dance videos. So yeah, they all dance great. But the MVs have a story/plot going on, so it is best to start with Pirate King and work forward. They have a comeback coming March 1st so work fast! But we don’t know where in the timeline Fever pt 2 (the new album) will be, as Fever pt 1 was a prequel, but pt 2 is massively different from the teasers. One thing: you’ll never regret stanning Ateez. They are so talented and unique (they are pirates, my dudes).
