Apart from Fanny Crosby always being fantastic, her hymns and the backstory of them, I also love, that this hymn shows clear tells on the fact, that she were a KJV reader: We are saved IN the cross, not AT, as all modern translations has changed it! “But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.” Galatians 6:14 KJV

Yes thank you. I had the settings on my phone on a different fast track setting and it was causing the songs to play fast. I couldn’t understand why. I asked my daughter and she fixed the problem for me. Thanks.

It is an absolute favourite of mine also! May we consider the cross and Jesus’ sacrifice often so we can truly appreciate what He gave for us.
