The NFL loves their storylines. The 49ers with Purdy, Arizona kid winning a SB in AZ, CMC, The QB situation (off season storylines), Bosa return from injury, Kittles words in the SB loss to KC in '19, D. Ryan's becoming a head Coach, so much more. The 49ers can and will provide the MOST.
Not just because I’m Niners fan and been one since 81, but this is the kind stuff that Legends are made of. Purdy is writing his story right in front our eyes and we are witnessing history in the making! We had a good team in 2019, 2020 and 2021, but we’ve finally found the missing piece to Shanahan’s power offense, Brock Purdy, and yes absolutely the McCaffrey trade was a game changer, but it was also limited until Mr. Relevant took the field, that changed the Niners, that changed the game folks!
Niner fan since the 70's and I've seen quite a few ups and downs. This season started rough with loss to Chicago, then Lance goes down, enter the ole' comfortable pair of shoes in Jimmy G, then he goes down, enter "Mr. Irrelevant" who stepped in and has done nothing but win. A Cinderella story for sure. Makes me want this kid to just keep getting it done and make NFL history along the way, it's just fun to watch as well. Can this kid win it all, I think he can...but we still have to play the game. Next up is a chippy Dallas team seeking revenge for their own f*ck up in the wild card round last year. (Hey Dallas it wasn't the 49ers who played keystone cops and couldn't get the ball set) CMC trade was a game changer as well, combine that with having Deebo, BA, Kittle, Mitchell for Brock to rock with and who knows how far the boys can go.
Jimmy was playing great with MaCaffrey until he got hurt. Which is very sad in one way since it could be another great storyline with Jimmy going to the super bowl despite that the team didnt want him in the off season
Purdy was an excellent pitcher and shortstop in baseball that gives him a lot of strength and accuracy in his arm, just like Mahomes and other quarterbacks who played baseball
Trevor Lawrence was the 1st pick of the 2021 NFL draft and Brock Purdy is the last player picked in the 2022 NFL draft. Very interesting if they played each other in the Super Bowl.

Jimmy, now healthy, jumps right back to his pre-injury performance level as the leagues #3 efficiency QB, moving the ball downfield - not erratically with occasional big-chunk plays like Brock, but with less spectacular but steady 3rd down conversions (#3 before his injury) and, like he did last year in Wk18, brings the team back from the deep deficit and wins the game - redeeming himself from the past SB, beating Mahomes, and giving the Bay Area fans a spectacular farewell victory (and unspoken middle finger to all the Jimmy-hater pundits and feeble-fans). Now that would be even crazier, an even more outrageous movie. And a win-win for both Jimmy and Brock, as Brock is the first rookie to win an NFCC and is the established QB1 for 2023, while Jimmy later signs a good contract among several offers and finds a decent team in a decent weather city. A happy ending for all. Except for Mahomes and the Chiefs.

The Bills are the emotional favorite not just because of what happened in Cincy but what that city has gone through historically. As a neutral, there are several storylines at play and I am so happy to be watching all of them unfold with food and drink. ❤
I am currently going to Iowa State, and me and my family have been Cyclone fans my entire life. Brock Purdy is a legend now. He was a really good college quarterback, but now they are selling his 49ers jersey in the Iowa State book shop. He’s turned the state of Iowa into San Francisco fans. Crazy stuff.

Brock did not come out of nowhere. He's been mostly doing the same thing for 4 years at Iowa State, against Big 12 opponents. BUT his game has improved since coming to the NFL, AND he's making corrections and learning from mistakes in live games.

I absolutely love the Brock Purdy story. I watch the NFL draft and checked his progress during the season. Postseason it was wow! I was not that upset the Cowboys lost (I am from Texas) as Brock's season is still ongoing. I want to see this kid go all the way and make NFL history.

Yeah he has a lot of weapons but so did Lance and Jimmy G. The difference is big. 9ers where winning games by 2,4,6 points. With Lance we lost to the Bears.

I absolutely love the Brock Purdy story. I watch the NFL draft and checked his progress during the season. Postseason it was wow! I was not that upset the Cowboys lost (I am from Texas) as Brock's season is still ongoing. I want to see this kid go all the way and make NFL history.

As 49ers fan since 1982, Purdy is the man!!!!DUDE has ICE VEIN! I call him ICE MAN! Steve Young was never this good as rookie, Jeff Garcia, and or Colin Kaepernick. PURDY will only get better over time. The combo of Kyle Shanahan and Brock Purdy is just perfect it! The teacher/mentor for years to come.
49ers also started this year losing. So it makes a great story insane. It really is extremely intriguing.

Great story but let's not act like he isn't throwing to one of the best sets of skill players I've ever seen who get a ton of separation. Great oline and a great co-ordinator. That being said I hope he beats the Boys.

Yeah he has a lot of weapons but so did Lance and Jimmy G. The difference is big. 9ers where winning games by 2,4,6 points. With Lance we lost to the Bears.
