Watch this video! Dr. Stritmatter is incisive - his manner and presentation are excellent. The content is extremely well researched and set out in an interesting and clear way- he makes it look easy. Thank you for this great post-Stratfordian work.
Regards writing on many levels, this was common in ancient manuscripts. As Jesus said to his disciples: “He said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.”. Math 13:11. And the text of the Talmud is even more opaque…. Ralph
I'd love to know what the ratio of anonymous to non-anonymous plays was all through the 90s. Hard to know when something is an anomaly in these contexts.
Good question. Plays were mostly anonymous until after 1598-- but "Shakespeare" is the big transition, in 1598, preceded by Lyly's Endymion in 1597. After that, names frequently start appearing on play quartos.
He nearly lost his job? Good grief, for what charge? There is something else behind this not wanting Shakespeare to be discovered for who he was. I believe I know what’s behind it but I won’t say. I will say that if people know the truth their eyes will be opened and the power that certain people hold r would be upended.
