You're probably wondering about the title of this video. Originally, this piece was written for two cellos and orchestra. I took the solo parts and the orchestral parts and reduced them down to just two lines, so all the parts are incorporated. You don't even need a piano! It's perfect for teachers to play with their students, or just to play with your best cello buddy. :)

What a delightful and compelling arrangement. Highlighting the two cellos in this way is great and also the piece is given a greater clarity without the orchestra. I really like this minimalist way of giving center stage to the cello. I absolutely adore this instrument and love to listen to your playing! Can you please tell me what your microphone and recording setup is?
I was looking for a good mic for recording my cello, but I can't find anything special for that
If you're looking for a mic for your cello, I would definitely look at large diaphragm condenser mics. I have an AKGC414, but I wouldn't recommend it, unfortunately. The mic I would love to have but can't afford is a Neumann U87. Best thing you can do is rent a bunch and try them all out.

Thank you! I'm afraid I can't remember what Annie plays on, but mine is a copy of my grandfather's 1698 Rosette Gofriller, made in the 1980s by Roelof Weertman.
