      No it's not. It's one of the worst. Check out the spark plug change on the RX450H. Wipes the floor with this video.

    I just changed my spark plugs using this video to guide me. This is by far the best video for a do it yourself. If you meticulously go step by step you will be successful..I did not need to use the swivel adapter but I have many different extension lengths..3-4 hours to complete.

    I’ve got a 2017 RX and gotta say the last center and right firewall side spark plugs were worth the price of admission!!!
    I replaced them per your video here, but I’m definitely considering pulling the air intake components at the next change out cycle. Gonna be sore for abit. Thanks for your video Sir.
    All the best.

    Good video. I followed the instructions trying to replace the spark plugs on my 2015 Lexus RX350. It turned out that it is much easier to remove intake manifold and get to the three plugs in the back.

    Hey very nice job explaining and showing everything step by step! Did exactly as you showed and worked out just great! Kinda tricky to get to 3 spark plugs in the back, but dooable. Took me about 2.5 hours from begining to finish. Dealer quoted me $660 for 2013 rx350, bought spark plugs for $60! So thank you!!

    Thanks for the video! Knocked this job out in a few hours. Agree with some others that disconnecting the pass side hood strut is very helpful. I used a bike tire floor pump to prop the hood while I worked.

    Great video. I just did the job this morning and I believe this is the best way to do it. No reason to remove the intake manifold. You actually have plenty of room to reach everything once that wiper tray is out. Took 2 hours tops.

    Wow. Thanks for the video man. Looks very detailed. I just did my son's Honda Pilot and that was a piece of cake. Took me a little over an house and engine cover was all that needed to be removed but my daughter's '15 RX350 wow this looks much more work. LOL. Bought a 6 pack of Denso OEM iridium plugs for $20. It only has 70k now and I think the iridium lasts to 120k so I have time.

    However, the reason you brake the plastic fasteners is that you should push the inner circle piece of the plastic retainer inward and then take the fastener off (not pulling them up!)

    What about the ignition coils? Why you did not replace the ignition coils along with the spark plugs? Thought they are normally replaced together at the same time

    • @nordicpride9708
      @nordicpride9708 2 роки тому +2

      No. They are only replaced if they fail. OEM coils for this car last a long time and are about $130 each at the dealer.
