At 1:51 that blade splutter had me, it's such an amazing helicopter! Also, that is MD530F, if it has an inlet at the bottom, then it is a 530, a lot more better than the MD500
Nope. That is a E model. The 530 has longer blades, tail rotor gearbox extension and a C-30 engine vs a C-20R in E models. Agreed the 530 would suit the FCSO better in high/hot areas of their vast county.
@@J.McFarlin yep however, as fun as these 500’s are to fly, they’re not exactly the most comfortable ships to sit for 12hr shifts, especially if you’re over 6ft tall! I can guarantee you they’d trade it in for a A-Star or 407 any day of the week! 😂

Was about to say. Should be a 500E. Tail number says it’s a 1991 369E which is a 500E.
