Just a heads up to others thinking about buying from z1 vs soho. I got about 18k saved to put into my G35. What do you do when you have questions for the company when you are gonna down that kind of money? You ask them the questions. If they were a good business they would answer the questions back in the email the potential customer sent to you 4 different times…. Not ignore them and think they will just drive from South Georgia to walk in the store. Answer your phones and emails and maybe I wouldn’t have spent 16k with soho and I could have helped out another Ga business. But instead I got bad business. SoHo answered my emails same day… I guess they like money more 🤷🏼♂️ Just my 16k worth 😎 It’s funny. I had your old tech come into my ford dealership and tell me all about the place. I got to give business and all that was smoke. He must of been mistaking z1 for soho 😂
I would love to hear what these sound like. I've been on and off about adding headers because I haven't settled on either going twin turbo or supercharged. If they sound smoother than the factory headers it might push me to go with a supercharger as I feel my exhaust is 90 percent perfect.
looks good sound clips!? dyno? been looking at ordering the tomei headers would love to see how these compare, or even compare to the older z1 headers.
Now if somebody with this kind of dedication could possibly figure out how to swap the VQ37VHR heads onto a VQ38DD (the DD heads have IEMs...integrated exhaust manifolds cast into the head) That would be great 😂
@ nah I know. Just noticed they did a new iteration of shortys but nothing on LTH for the Zs. Feels like it’s just between ISR and PPE but I can’t bring myself to spend that much on a header when hp gains aren’t that far apart hopefully the ISRs I ordered turn out the way I hope lol.
This new header had the correct flange for you to use your oem cats or existing test pipe / hfc on your 2013 g37. So it’s a direct bolt on It’s their older header than requires getting DE flanged test pipes.
If we're going to to the 'use this, not this', then, Hey Nissan: Use this (inline six cylinder engine like the Z is supposed to have) and not this (horribly unbalanced V6 engine).

Got some long tube header on my DE made a huge difference in power gain however it sounds more raspy now :(
A Resonated Y-pipe will make the biggest difference in reducing the raspy exhaust of the car with catless exhaust setups.
Any chance you guys end up making your own LTH for the de?
if they make it for the DE's it'll be for HR/VHR's as well
